We had a nice feel of Zanzibar at mamamapambo. We interacted with friendly locals, and felt like we belonged there. Staff was warm and friendly, and the food was very good.... Basically we had a nice time.

I was drawn to Jambiani and the Mamamapambo Hotel online and was not disappointed. After two weeks of fantastic but exhausting safari traveling, the Mamamapambo was a perfect oasis. My room was private with a large deck with hanging chaises overlooking the beach and I spent hours relaxing here while enjoying the local activity, such as women collecting seaweed at... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights after safari. The hotel itself is nice and right on the beach. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Dinner was very overpriced by comparison to other local restaurants, where the food was just as nice and if not better. It was disappointing that there were no tea or coffee making... More

This hotel is a nice construction organised around a quiet patio. The house is beautiful in line with typical zanzibari architecture. The rooms are spacious with AC and nicely built. The hotel is right on the beach. Great fusion food – though portions could be a little bigger. Held by a lovely Italian couple who know about food and service!... More

stayed here for 3 days after hiking mount kilimanjaro and could not have picked a better place. The staff was impecable, the food outstanding and the location unbeatable. i'm not sure that we could have gotten our room any closer to the beach, it was so peaceful to wake up and hear the waves of the ocean. Great drink/wine/beer selection... More

We had a wonderful time at Mamamapambo Boutique Hotel located directly on the beach of Jambiani. The hotel looks a bit like a mix of a Safari-Lodge and a weed covered indigenous house from the center of the island decorated with artifacts from different African regions. The manager and the staff are very friendly and helpful for any issue you... More

Mamamapambo is not a common place, it is a small hotel with only 6 rooms, the location inside the african village of Jambiani , allows a unique experience of contact with the locals, we were able to observe closely the collection of seaweeds by women of the village, we also went out fishing with the traditional boat discovering the unique... Mamamapambo is located directly on the beach in Jambiani, as soon as we arrived we had the impression of being welcomed in a special place and we were not disappointed. Everything was special for us, who were on honeymoon, and there was organized a wonderfull private dinner in the flowered garden, lobster, prawns, crabs and giant great champagne. Unforgettable. спасибо
