We stayed for a week there. We had a room facing the village. the neighboring house of local people was about 15-20 meters from us. the windows and the door have perforations, so all the sounds and smells come to the room. It was so noisy! We couldn't sleep, because at 5-30 in the morning the cocks started cry so... More

Cristina and Paolo were perfect hosts, took care about everything and created a very unique place with so much love for every detail. We stayed in the jungle room for 7 days and we missed nothing. The Dinner was extraordinary like in a first class restaurant which was not usual in Zanzibar and the staff like Sharif, Francis...were great guys!... More

Well - there is no real paradise if you look at all aspects. The hotel is located in a very small and poor village with not much to see. But once inside the gates it certainly looks and feels very much like paradise. Friendly welcome with a drink much needed in the heat. Wonderful rooms and truly magnificent interior design... More

After a week safariing, the Mamamapambo Boutique Hotel was the perfect place to decompress. The location in sleepy Jambiani is lovely, the staff friendly and helpful and the immaculate accommodations reflect the depth of Cristina and Paolo's creativity and love for this part of the world. Did I mention the cuisine? To die for.

We stayed here for a week after being ion safari. It's a really beautiful, quirky little place with stunning, picture-perfect views. The food is excellent- really high standard restaurant fare - and as the hotel is owned by two Italians, the pasta is always fresh. We stayed in room one, which is on the ground floor and offers a fantastic... More

Small hotel, only 6 rooms. Each room has a double bad, each room is decarated with different colors and details. Located on the beach, in the local Tanzanian village, you can observe the daily life of ordinary people. Simple breakfast, menu for dinners are presented each morning and you can decide if you will stay in the hotel or you... More

This small hotel is the best of our whole trip to Zanzibar. Jambiani is a special village where feel the slow African rhythms, the staff very attentive and pleasant, always ready to a smile. We had dinner several times in the hotel and sometimes trying local restaurants on the beach, the hotel price is a bit more expensive than the... More

I could not choose better for our honeymoon after the hard work of climbing on Mount Kilimanjaro. Greeted in an extremely friendly way, we were given the Jungle sea view room, with a beautiful terrace with a breathtaking view on the Indian Ocean and the room was beautiful, love and care in every corner, furnished and decorated with natural materials...
