First off, we have been coming to this campground for over 10 years. This year upon check in we were charged an extra $12 per night simply because we chose to bring our 3 young children with us. This is wrong!! This is a family vacation, and we are adding to BC'S economy by choosing to stay in province rather... More

Our third year there, very disappointed in customer service to start. Grouchy lady at front desk, we had to cancel a site for friends that couldn't make it, charged $30., not to mention they didn't lose any money as the site was filled. Secondly, they charged us $4.00 a head per night for taking our Grandchild, a friend of our... More

Where do I start? Not at all what we expected. We booked four nights well in advance and they required two nights deposit. The woman who took the reservation was very friendly. We'd never been there before. We arrived on a Friday about 2:00 and pre paid for the remaining nights. The site they assigned us was on a corner... More

Spent 4 days with a group all camping at the resort, tenting, RVs and the cabins, everyone was happy. The camping was great, the staff were friendly, and the lake was beautiful! The washrooms were extremely clean as was the lake itself. Such a great lake for little kids (and big kids too). Would stay there again in a heartbeat... More

Quiet park like setting some noise from highway 97 but not disruptive. Most sites have adequate shade for the heat try to avoid #142 - no shade. Facilities (laundry showers etc )a little dated but adequate. Front desk staff very helpful. Grounds staff excellent. Interesting concept have herb gardens for guests use unique idea! Would recommend.

We stayed here last June, and loved it. This year, not so much. Were promptly informed showers cost $1/5 minutes now, found out the laundry room was closed at 4pm, the store closed at 6pm. Very disappointed. Sure, $1 a hit for a shower doesn't seem like a big deal, but nickel and diming people isn't cool. Also ticked off... More

We love this site of Tripadvisor, as it gives us another avenue to have dialog with our Guests. As we are in the only desert in Canada. The northern tip of the Sonora Desert. The natural resource of water is a concern in our area, and our neighbouring communities are all on a metered water system, and pay by the... More

Arriving on September 11th, we had just one night to spend camping. The general manager, Jamie, was friendly and very helpful on the phone, guiding us to the tent sites at the back of the property. Not expecting gravel, we were a tad disappointed but we were pleasantly surprised by the amenities. Each site had a clean picnic table, a... More

We stayed here for a weekend after the main tourist season so it was almost empty. We were given a campsite right next to the kiddies park which was perfect for us, as we had our 4 year old with us. We were able to watch him from our picnic table and he didn't have to cross the road to... More

The campground was packed full on the weekend making the very small beach almost impossible to find a spot to put your towel. The campground lacked trees and was abut of a parking lot. The playgrounds and bathrooms were fine. The front desk was great at helping me plan some wine tours. It calmed down on the weekdays and was... More

A favourite spot for years...lovely and quiet in the evening. One of the few campgrounds where you're not blasted by other camper's music. (Hope they keep it this way!) Super safe for families as there is only one road in and out so the transients seem to stay away. We'll be back again next year!
