This was our 2nd year staying at Lakeside Resort in Oliver with family and friends and once again it didn't disappoint! This little resort is very well cared for and has 3 options of accommodations - camping, cabana's or suites. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was perfect for my family of 4. I love that our room... More

Just spent this past week at Lakeside Resort with family & friends, and again was a great stay! Our third year in a row with our young kids, and my husband has been staying there for over a decade before that for his yearly golf getaway. Great staff, stunning private beach on clean warm lake, well kept grounds, close to... More

Our 2nd time visiting Lakeside, and we'll certainly be back. Up with friends that have been coming for years. Place is very well kept, grounds are maintained very well. Beach front is outstanding and the lake is fantastic - Super warm. Staff are great too. Saw the terrible review posted, weddings everyday, hmmm you must have been staying somewhere else,... More

The terms you agree to when booking include an 11pm noise limit that is "strictly enforced". Ha. They book wedding receptions almost every night in the summer and they party until whenever they feel like it because there's nobody to enforce the 11pm rule! I've never stayed in a more poorly run campground, hotel, or motel anywhere in the world.... More

Fantastic location right on a sandy beach on the lake. Small playground. Firepits on the beach. Well kept resort with good washrooms. Would echo the review lower down - the lawnmower started before 9 and was still circling when we left at lunchtime. Admittedly the grass was good, but it was excessive mowing.

My adult daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights in May of 2015 while we were doing a wine tour. Our cabin was lovely, clean and had everything we needed for our comfort. We swam in the chilly lake (no motor boats), played badminton on the expansive lawns and really enjoyed the outdoors. The girls at the front desk were... More

Recently camped here for 5 nights- it is truly a gorgeous setting! Lots of weeping willows for shade, the lake is clean and great for swimming (no power boats). I would not hesitate to recommend it except for 1 thing- noise!!!! We endured one day of the riding lawn mower (6 hours- he went over the same area several times... More

Loved the look of the beachside cabanas, although we had rented a campsite. Might try one in future! Very sweet, quiet and family friendly/safe place to camp in Okanagan Valley area, and big plus for us was that they were still open 1 week past Thangsgiving! This is a lovely resort/RV park/campground, all the facilities were spotless and so well... More

This resort has motel-like rooms, kitchenettes, and RV spaces. It's clean, well run, and very convenient to the heart of Canadian wine country. It's not a traditional resort- no restaurant or bar or pool- but is on 500 feet of lakeside waterfront, with fire rings on the beach, cabanas for changing to swim in the lake, a hot tub, picnic... We stay here every month of September. The lake is beautiful, grounds are kept nice and clean. Rates are great if you stay by the month , has full hookup, free wifi, Would recommend it for campers. Have not stayed in the resort room's.

September is a wonderful time at Lakeside! It's much quieter than the summer months and usually warm with nice, cool nights. We have noticed an increase in wine tourism in the past few years. You can drive, or better yet, ride a bicycle (yours or one of our rentals) around easily and visit many wineries. More
