I was camping here for a week and had the time of my life! The lake is sandy and warm, the beach is all sand, and the campground is clean and quiet. There are lots of things that the campground hosts to help keep the kids occupied all day long. There are 2 bathrooms that each have at least 4-6... More

Travelled with a group of 15 on a golf package put together by the resort. Included were five rounds of golf at three area golf courses, accommodation at the motel, and Thursday steak dinner. Our room consisted of two single beds. Room was modest but spotlessly clean. Beds were great. Patio door opened on to lawn space that led down... More

I'm so glad you enjoyed your golfing holiday. We've specialized in "Steak-on-the-Lake" Golf Packages for over 20 years! Once people have tried them they're hooked - you don't have to cab anywhere after golf or supper. Just hang at the resort; enjoy a campfire, play bocce or just relax. More

This is a lovely rv resort. The only downside was the shower use. There are two shower buildings and during the week when the resort is less busy the "nicer" shower room is locked. I experienced a rather negative response from one of the staff members when I had asked to use the locked room. All other staff members especially... More

Thanks for your suggestion regarding our washrooms. I will certainly take it into consideration. We have traditionally been quiet during the off-season and one bathroom block has always been sufficient. We notice that our traffic is increasing now so perhaps it's time to consider having them both open. More

Sweet little resort. I've been here numerous times over the past few years. Dawn and her staff treat you to a wonderful experience. This gem boasts a quaint motel for the travellers not camping. There are lots for sites here to enjoy. Full hook-ups to single tent sites are available. The Lakeside resort is exactly what is says. A nice... More

Thanks so much for the stellar review! We really appreciate it! Our Steak-on-the-Lake Golf Packages have been a tradition amongst golfers for over 20 years. It's so nice to be able to have dinner and just hang-out on the property. There's free firewood if you want to enjoy a campfire, bocce balls, horseshoes, volleyball as well as just kicking back... Stayed in the Penthouse for the last week. Loved the views! Only thing was having such a big place but told that we were threatened with security for having a few guests over after 11pm. Kind of a bummer since I'm on holidays visiting friends I haven't seen in years. Overall it was deadly and I would stay again

Stayed 2 night in the motel portion of the resort but would love to try a cabana or a rv site.Kids loved being so close to the beach and spent most of their stay in the nice shallow water.Close to town but feels far away from the busy downtown area.Plan on coming back again next year.

After traveling from Sydney Australia, we spent 2 days driving from Edmonton to Oliver. On arriving the service at the desk was welcoming - my cousin was returning for a second consecutive year. We were staying with family in a Cabana - 4 bunks and a double bed. Basic kitchen with no cooking facility but a fridge was supplied. Large... More

Thank-you for taking the time to post such a great review. I apologize for the problems with hot water - we are taking steps to... More

I had a quick trip to Oliver and decided to stay by the lake. What a beautiful spot!!! A cute room with a view of the lake, nice way to wake up in the morning. I will return for a longer stay for sure.

We were fortunate enough to attend a wedding at The Lakeside Resort and the event couldn't have been more perfect. The resort staff went out of their way to make the event go off without a hitch, lodging was clean and comfortable, and setting was beautiful.
