Family had a very comfortable 3 night in two bedrooms in the house. Very impressed by the unsurpassed attention to detail. In the evening, we enjoyed using the residents' lounge. The lounge includes a fantastic selection of leaflets on local places to visit. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Each morning at breakfast we were given very useful advice... More

We had booked for two nights but were so impressed by the accommodation and the hospitality that we extended our stay. We stayed in Y Bwthyn Bach adjacent to the house and enjoyed an excellent breakfast every morning. The cottage is well equipped, very peaceful and comfortable. June and Glyn were perfect hosts. We had a meeting in nearby Llandaff... More

Quiet rural location with extensive views from all aspects. June and Glyn have put a lot of thought into their Bed and Breakfast business, concentrating on being friendly and efficient at the same time. They are knowledgeable about their area, and happy to chat with visitors about local places of interest. The breakfast is exceptional - many hot and cold... More

Good rural location only a short drive from Cowbridge, a town with nice places to stop for lunch in between browsing some independent shops. Main reason to choose here was due to its close proximity to Cardiff where we spent the evening, took less than half an hour to get to the centre. Stayed in Y Bwythyn Bach, which was... More

Lovely comforable B&B. We were made to feel very welcome by both June and Glyn. Our room was light, spacious, comfortable and most importantly, quiet. If you don't fancy watching TV in bed, there is a large guest living room. I especially liked the shared fridge, with fresh milk for your room made tea/coffee too. Breakfast was excellent quality and... More

We like visiting cities and had never visited Cardiff but we prefer to stay at a rural retreat rather than in the city itself. Bryn-y-Ddafad fitted the bill perfectly. June and Glyn are lovely hosts, and the accommodation was warm, comfortable and spacious. June is very knowledgeable about all things local and seems to have a perfect memory for directions!... A post Christmas family get together saw five of us gathering at June and Glyn's delightful country guest house in idyllic surroundings near to Cowbridge. After a warm welcome, we settled into The Little Cottage and my parents to the main house bedroom with wonderful views. We found every requirement had been catered for and the accommodation clean and spacious.... More

We were given a very warm welcome on arrival by June who went out of her way to help us have a comfortable stay. The recommendation of a place to have dinner proved to be wonderful and the directions made it very easy for strangers to the area. Wonderful breakfast to suit each of us. We would definitely stay again.

So glad you enjoyed your stay and dinner at the Farmers Arms in Aberthin not far from Bryn-y-Ddafad. The Farmers has a reputation for excellent pub food and generous portions. Hope your stay in Cornwall is proving equally enjoyable. More

Very comfortable for our family. We are very glad we found this place on our visit to Cardiff and surrounds. Children very excited to find out from June that Merlin was filmed at Caerphilly castle, so on her recommendation we went there for the morning and had a great time.

We were very happy to accommodate you and your family and to learn that you enjoyed your visit to Caerphilly Castle, the giant of all the castles in Wales. The leaning tower is said to lean more than the leaning tower of Pisa! We hope you enjoy the remainder of your stay in the U.K. before returning down under. More
