Stayed in excellent accommodation in the cottage where we were warm and very comfortable for our 3 night stay. "Home from home" facilities and each morning enjoyed June's wonderful varied breakfasts. Rural yet easy access to all local attractions - town, countryside and beaches. Lots of helpful information provided to make days out easy and enjoyable

Just returned after spending 3 nights at Bryn y Ddafad, in Castle View Room. Lovely comfortable bed, luxuriously large soft Bath Sheets and the use of the Guest lounge was a bonus. June & Glynn are very welcoming and experienced hosts. There is a good varied menu for breakfast. We tried the smoked haddock and poached eggs one morning and... More

Lovely location with beautiful views of the countryside from our room. Room was very well decorated & the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful & my gluten free diet was no problem & well catered for. Would love to stay longer next time & would highly recommend this b&b.

When I told my sister I had booked Bryn y Ddafad again for our annual jaunt to Cardiff for the rugby, she couldn't wait to feast on the B&B's delicious breakfast and true to form it was excellent, - smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, fresh chives from the garden, laverbread on the side as a special request, I can't think... We've been going to this part of Wales for many years now as we have family in Llanharry. Even though there are many nice B&B's in the area this is undoubtedly the best B&B we have found and has been our first choice for several years. June and Glynn are extremely welcoming and couldn't do more for you. The location,... More

As soon as you get to the end of the lane, with the guest house set in rural surroundings you know the setting is just right, such a lovely area and the quiteness is also a delight. Our two night stay with bed and breakast was such a treat and with June and Glyn being such nice hosts nothing would... More

Extremely comfortable and nothing is too much trouble for June and Glynn. A brilliant breakfast to get you going in the morning! We can highly recommend this for all ages -... More

My friends and I traveled in Cardiff for our holiday and we wanted to stay in the peaceful countryside for one night. Cowbridge was the perfect place where we expected. When we contacted to the Guest House, they gave a prompt response and it was detailed. The location was good as a countryside Guest House. Room, bathroom and kitchen... everything... More

The guest house was clean and out from town and very quiet. Gardens and grounds were very well kept. Separate guest lounge with TV and beverage amenities. Breakfast was traditional English style breakfast. Great value

Bryn-Y-Ddafad, a small bed&breakfast outside the historic town of Cowbridge, is a real treat for people who appreciate gardens. The bedrooms themselves are very comfortable and well-appointed but it's the owners' gardens that make the property so unique. We visited in July so many of the flowers were in full bloom, and the gardens will participate in the National Garden... More
