No surprise given all the other reviews, but the hype is totally justified in this case. Keeping it short and to the point: - Our room (room 1) was very well sized with high quality furnishings. The large bathroom had a two person jacuzzi bath and separate shower. - Lovely communal guest lounge, brilliant for evening chilling and/or chatting with... More

Such a great place to stay, and close to Neist Point to see the sunset! Thanks to our hosts for making us comfortable, and for providing a fantastic breakfast for us. Loved the location, and the drive to get there!

This is a truly wonderful place to stay. After this all other B and Bs will have trouble living up to it. We spent three nights here and had a truly excellent experience. The accommodation is very comfortable, with little extras like good quality soap and hand creams and biscuits that actually tasted like biscuits. The breakfast is delicious- a... More

We stayed 2 nights at this fantastic B&B and wished we could have stayed forever. The owner's have created a stunning, super comfortable, exceptionally clean and beautifully presented B&B. The views from the dining room are second to none and the gorgeous walks and sights to see nearby are just sublime. Julie and Steve are the most wonderful hosts and... More

All of the other reviews are absolutely spot on - this is a wonderful place! Despite being in a remote, rural location, the guesthouse is modern, clean, and comfortable. My boyfriend and I stayed in the smaller double room while his parents stayed in the master bedroom. The bed was so comfortable and the internet was faster than it was... More

The B&B is very nice. The rooms are full equiped and very comfortable. Great place to relax and start the day with beautiful views and excellent breakfast. The hosts are really nice and very helpful. We absolutely recomend the B&B. The only thing to bear in mind is the isolated location (which can be an advantage or a disadvantage).

This B&B was an amazing experience. Julie and Steve were great hosts. We really felt at home here. Not only had we always nice chats and a lot of fun with them, they helped us also with many recommendations on where to go and what to see/do. First thing I have to say about the location: It is REMOTE, quite... More

Excellent stay with fabulous breakfasts ( try the kippers ) and fantastic views. Steve and Julie are more than perfect hosts. We stayed for two nights and the car never moved!! We walked for hours and Steve organised taxi to take us to The Three Chimneys and back. - Which was another Fabulous Experience.

Hi all , would just like to say that this B&B ( wrong name really , should be home from home ) is really worth it just to meet the proprieters Steve and Julie ! The master room we stayed in was perfect , comfy bed , beautiful ensuite , great views from both sides of room and its huge... More

On our trip to the hebrides we started with Isle of Skye. We had chosen Carters Rest based on the excellent comments we found on Tripadvisor and we would not be disappointed. Essentially what you need for a trip like ours is a good, hearty breakfast that would get you through the day, and a lovely, comfy place with people... More
