My wife and I stayed at Clach Ghlas for a single night during our latest vacation in Scotland. We had seen a couple of photos on the internet and were intriqued by the beautiful building and its scenic location. We weren't disappointed. In fact we were blown away. The place itself proved to be everything we hoped it would be.... More

What a place! Love it. Came before with my sister in May this year and now brought my husband to show him the beautiful Isle of Skye... Stayed again at Clach Ghlas. Neil & Anne are lovely hosts, very welcoming and recommended a lovely walk. The room was delightful, clean, comfortable and soooo quiet. Breakfast was one of the best... More

My wife and I stayed at the Clach Ghlas for four nights last week and it was made thoroughly enjoyable by Anne and Neil. Their help in deciding where we should go on our first trip to any of the Scottish islands and their willingness to give us our own space were factors but the breakfasts and afternoon snacks were... We absolutely loved this B&B, yes it's more expensive than other B&Bs but I thought all the little extras made that all worthwhile. As did the delightful hostess Anne. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting to her and could have stayed all day if I didn't feel the need to actually see some of Skye. We arrived in the afternoon to be... More

What a lovely place to stay! We had planned to stay at the Three Chimneys as we were dining there but their rooms were fully booked. What a stroke of luck for us! The Clach Ghlas is beautiful with stunning views and the nicest landlady in Scotland! It is very remote and not easy to find but when you get... More

Had a very warm welcome from Anne who is the perfect hostess, the location and views are amazing, the rooms are great, and finally the breakfast was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Anne is a really lovely lady, very welcoming, warm and caring. She had great stories to tell myself and my sister (who is visiting from South Africa). Really attentive to detail. The best sleep I've had in a really long time as bed very comfortable. The views are stunning, a truly great place, breakfast was lovely too. Would highly recommend... More

Though hard to locate, the place was more than worth the drive. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and well-appointed. We had access to a lovely lounge and deck with an incredible view. There were brochures on everything to do in the area. The BEST thing about the experience was our lovely hostess Ann. From the second we drove in, I... More

After a pretty long drive up and down a lot of windy roads, we finally found the B&B. Despite the rain lashing down and wind howling, the welcome was lovely and warm. Greeted with a fresh pot of coffee and home made scones with jam - just the ticket. The owners even sorted out a taxi for the restaurant tonight.... More

This place was stunning. Remote and beautifully placed on the edge of the isle of skye. Wonderful rooms and personal service and suggestions for what to see and how to get there. Do prepare for the small roads and the lack of signage. Google maps screen shots were necessary to get there.
