We were walking the Great Glen Way when we stayed here, booked through an agent, and having read other reviews were not looking forward to the experience. We can understand the tone of some of the negative comments but didn't experience any problems ourselves, quite the reverse. Yes, there is a certain level of regimentation in Ian & Gill's operation... More

We regrettably stayed at the Coire Glas Guest House for one night. The service we received was substandard. From the start, we were made to feel extremely guilty for a late arrival (12.30am - to which we had let them know prior). The landlords were very rude, making it clear we had woken them up, had no intention of making... More

More of the same, we had the same issue with collection. Last thing you need at the end of a days walking. Blamed the company that we had arranged our holiday with for giving us the wrong time to contact, we like others said ok we could wait, for Ian to turn up 10 mins later! Greeted by Gill, very... Myself, partner, son (12) and mother stayed at the coire glas in July for one night on our way to our holidays and one word describes the guest house FANTASTIC our hostess Gill couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The room was clean and comfortable as was the other room that my mother stopped in. Breakfast was lovely and... More

The high point of our stay is when we arrived and could not locate the owners. Being in no rush, my wife and I (we are on our honeymoon) went and found a nice place for dinner and came back. Then everything went downhill because we met the owners. Gill was upset with us for not ringing the buzzer to... More

The rooms were great with a fantastic shower which you really need after a day of exploring. Lovely views, quiet with outside patio area to sit out in the evening and enjoy a drink. Gill was so organised and everything was on hand. Only thing that could be changed is the squeeky doors, once one person was up you all got... More

We had a lovely stay, Jill was very welcoming and the gardens were lovely. A great location, lovely and close to Fort William. Breakfast was yummy and lots of it as well as a great choice. ...........

Wondering what is up with the poor reviews. We got our laundry done, got a good restaurant pick, and we're met and taken to the Great Glen Way. Reading the negative reviews here make me wonder if it is even the same B&B! Gill packs an excellent walker's lunch, too.

Having stayed here for one night with four others on a 400 mile cycle ride, I must add our experiences to the growing list. On arrival we were greeted with "Can I help you" quickly followed by orders t omove our van as the lady who greeted us(Gill as it turned out) was expecting a "fleet of cars" to turn... More
