"The Heathers" certainly deserve their four star rating as a luxury B & B nestled within the Heart of the Great Glen. I would even go further to say our hosts, Andrew and Liz Bright, deserve a five star rating for their personel attention to all our requests making our stay all the more memorable. Our stay for the weekend... More

'The Heathers - Invergloy Halt' is in an ideal position for exploring Lochaber and the Central Western Highlands. Situated in the Great Glen a few miles north of the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge it is easy to reach Inverness, Mallaig, Skye, Oban and the Cairngorms using 'The Heathers' as a base. In 40 years of visiting Scotland we have... More

The Heathers is excellent in every way, from the friendliness of the hosts to the wonderful breakfasts. The view is spectacular and sitting in the sunshine on the decking overlooking Loch Lochy was a perfect end to the day. We booked in for an extra night.

From the warmest of welcomes to the outstanding hospitality we have no hesitation in giving a top class rating to The Heathers. Facilities are excellent and the proprietors helpfulness in choosing daily itineraries and detailed maps was so appreciated.

I cannot praise the couple Liz & Andrew to who run the Heathers to highly they simply supply one of the best bed &breakfast houses I have ever stayed in. From the first warm welcome to the weather reports and journey plans they supplied me with made my trip round the area so much easier. As for the house itself... More

My wife and I spent two nights at the Heathers B&B and have nothing but praise for the warmth of welcome and standard of presentation achieved by the proprietors, Liz & Andrew. Their home is less than 10 years old, purpose built with use as a B&B in mind, and as such was immaculate in decor and beautifully presented in... More

First-off, a minor amendment. The Heathers might technically be in the Fort William region, but it's actually 15 miles North, just North of Spean Bridge. It makes a difference if you're walking. ;o) I booked a night at The Heathers on the basis of the other TripAdvisor review, and from my experience I have to agree with everything they said.... More

The Heathers is a real find -- exceptionally attractive, well-located, impeccably clean, terrific breakfasts, and charming hosts in Liz and Andrew Bright. We booked this B&B for a trip to Scotland in 2004 and enjoyed it so much that we returned in late spring this year. We originally chose the Heathers to break up the car trip from the Isle... More
