This was our fourth visit to The Heathers. Andrew and Liz gave us a very warm welcome wirh tea on their terrace which has magnificent views. We continue to be impressed by the extremely high standard of accomodation they offer. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and crisp white sheets, the bathrooms are well appointed and immaculate with a... more

Liz and Andrew were attentive and welcoming hosts. Good suggestions and helpful with interesting routes around the area. We even discovered we had a mutual friend! Good facilities in the rooms, and even saw red deer on the hill behind. more

Of the many places we stayed in the Highlands and Islands, this was the best. In spite of a too early arrival ( 4pm seeming the suitable time) we were warmly welcomed; our hosts sensibly suggested we go to arrange our evening meal at a local establishment before settling in. On our return we were given tea and cakes on... more

I researched widely on the Internet before deciding on The Heathers and I must say I was very pleased with myself! The location is lovely. You are not hemmed in by lots of other B&Bs so there is a sense of isloation. We had the double room with a superb view of the Loch Lochy. The toilet window overlooked the... more

A beautifully kept B&B in a lovely position. Great breakfast. Extremely friendly and helpful hosts who are particularly keen to tell you all about their B&B, its history, and their own experiences. To us, they seem slightly less interested in their guests experiences, often totally ignoring our comments. But they sure can talk!! However, despite the personality quirks of the... more

We happened upon Liz and Andrew 's "The Heathers" by accident and to our surprise what a gem we found. It was absolutely the most ultimate bed and breakfast we stayed at while traveling in Europe. They were delightful and fun hosts. We would reccomend their home without any hesitation to anyone traveling to Scotland. more

Absolutely fantastic experience staying at the Heathers. After staying in many different hotels and B&B's across Europe and the US, the Heathers is at the top of our list. The room was spotless, the hosts extremely gracious, and the location can't be beat. Andrew and Liz made us feel most welcome and gave us great advice and information on the... more

Having trolled through countless Guest houses and B & B's for a last minute get away over the Easter weekend we were so pleased to have been accepted to stay at the Heathers, 'What a find'.. From the minute we arrived, both Liz and Andrew made us so welcome in their beautiful home. Their attention to detail and 5 *... more
