We stayed here as part of a horseback tour across the highlands. The gorgeous scenery is a marvel to look at first thing in the morning, with the mist curling off the mountains. The food was delicious, and very courteous service. Even the goats who live outside came to stand beside the window and say HI! The only thing that... More

Back again after a few years away. The dining room has been revamped making even better views of Ben Nevis and the Nevis range. Host of local attractions and local walks. Food still at the very high standard and service professional and unobtrusive. Weather changeable but always warm and welcoming here. Free range goats, chickens, dogs, geese, ducks a real... More

Amazing location, just the place to sit in comfy couch eating lovely home made scones with cream and jam, looking out to the hills of Nevis. Dinner brilliant too. Best treacle tart ever eaten! Very lovely dining and lounging space. Bedroom a little small and quite thin walls but large walk in shower room. Wonderful breakfast with eggs from the... More

This hotel is real gem surrounded by beautiful scenery so quiet and peaceful. It looks a bit like a large Swiss chalet the inside is mostly pine and it's beautifully decorated. The bedrooms are very spacious, comfortable and the attention to detail is brilliant, in the room there is a desk/table with a mirror and a beautiful wooden box with... More

We knew of this hotel from previous visits to the area. We found it to be both friendly and very comfortable. Rooms clean and with a superb outlook and the restaurant with magnificent views served excellent food. The owners and staff all made for a wonderful Anniversary stay.

What a wonderful place to stay. The position and views are simply stunning. The owners could not have been kinder. Rooms immaculate, if slightly small. Our children were made very welcome. Even managed a quick load of washing with an ultrafast turnaround....appreciated by wet walkers! Food fabulous as you will read from all the other reviews. We hope to return

We happened onto this hotel looking to spend a night in Fort William so we could take advantage of local outdoor pursuits. This hotel in Spean Bridge was a lovely surprise. The staff was attentive and helpful. The room was modern-rustic, clean, spacious (enough) and well-appointed. Dinner and breakfast exceeded our expectations and the large windows provided spectacular views of... More

We were greeted upon our arrival with a smile; a latte each and shortbread/scone. Our room was immaculate and included all the necessities. We had a drive around the area and took lots of photos. We only had one night here which was peaceful. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious.

After a very long morning of driving through what felt like the entire highlands we stumbled across this place for lunch. It was late afternoon but we were ushered to the restaurant to a table overlooking the stunning views. I ordered the platter of local cured meats with a side of chips and a large glass of red wine (I... More

Stayed one night as part of a train tour. Perfect setting and impeccable service. Wonderful food, nice comfortable room with TV, free wifi, sofa, and tea service. Home made scones upon arrival. Walked to commando memorial and then down toward the spean river. So scenic, everything looks like a postcard. Would love to return and stay a few days.
