Stayed one night here during cycling vacation. Beautiful surroundings and with a great view of Ben Nevis mountain. Very relaxing, homey. Our room was very large with a very comfortable bed. Great shower. The staff were wonderful and very attentive. Dinner was good but I did not care for the risotto which could be an aberration as everyone else loved... More

We stayed here while on a train trip booked thru McKinlay Kidd, which got us first class accommodations and seating everywhere. This little inn is beautiful! The car to pick us up from the train was prompt and friendly. Our room featured a large window overlooking Ben Nevis (the mountain) and the gorgeous front gardens. Innkeeper made us tea and... More

Comfortable, relaxed, great food, attentive but unobtrusive owners, fabulous views. Perfect for touring the Highlands. We spent a week and wished we could stay forever. Great disabled access and really accessible shower etc. Dan and Imogen are great hosts. Some days could have sat at the breakfast table and spent the whole day watching Ben Nevis. Lots of attention to... More

We stayed at Old Pines Hotel during a tour of the area. We booked only a week before our stay so didn't have a lot of choice in the local area but was absolutely delighted with our booking. We arrived and were offered a cup of tea - a great touch. There were homemade biscuits left in our room too.... More

We stayed one night on our way south and were sorry that it wasn't for longer so that we could do some walking in the area. The hotel was a lovely surprise in a beautiful setting. Our room was fairly plain but spacious with a good bathroom. We loved the public spaces - a welcoming lounge and a really lovely... More

We were just driving by and called at this hotel for a cup of tea. We were offered a home made scone and we're glad we did. You could see that it was freshly home made and came with home made raspberry jam which was a simply delicious. They could have sold it to Harrods! I was sad when they... More

A friend and I arrived here after a tough day's walking in the Scottish Mountains, and got exactly what we needed - a great place to spend the night! We were greeted with a pot of tea and home-made biscuits in our room, then had time for a quick nap in the very comfortable bedroom before a good hot power-shower... More

A great place to stay and is central to great tourist areas. It's a 20 minute drive to Loch Ness. This log cabin-type building is lovely with excellent views of the local scenery. It's internal decor is so relaxing and warm. Rooms were also very comfortable and spotless. I was very impressed with the whole place. The attention to detail... More
