We stayed for two nights at this farmhouse, and really enjoyed our stay. We had a nice large bedroom, very comfortable bed and a large TV in the room. I mention this, because in some venues we found a TV mounted on a wall, but too small to enjoy watching! Neil welcomed us and was a huge source of information.... More

I had a very comfortable stay in this lovely home with amazing views. It was just what it said on the tin and was good value for money. Neil gave me a warm welcome and cooked a great breakfast with fresh eggs from the garden chickens and home made sausages. He was kind enough to give this car-less wanderer a... More

We needed somewhere close to Ben Nevis as a stopping point for the evening before and after our climb...Location was good, only 5 miles up the road and in a very quiet area (mind the speed humps as one of them is very high)... The rooms are clean, tidy and quite spacious, our one had an amazing view of the... More

The location is perfect, wonderful views and very quiet although easy to find. Unfortunately, despite this we didn't enjoy our stay here. It was a little like an old fashioned boarding house with lots of rules. Breakfast was between an inflexible 8-8.15, luckily we wanted early starts but normally this would be too early for us on a break from... More

Neil, the host, was not very friendly... he's nice but not really friendly friendly... a bit odd if i must say. He also has many rules for your stay. we showed up late (6pm) to check in and he made it clear that he was not happy about it and almost cancelled our booking... and that we should have called... Lovely old farm house tucked away just off the road. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and the single room that I was given was very clean and adequately furnished. The shared upstairs toilet is a bit small but perfectly adequate. The full English breakfast was very nice and a pleasant conversation was had with the owner. Overall I... More

Pros: - Convenient location, for lack for better accommodation. Cons: - For the price per night, amenities offered are below market value in that area. - Shower did not have hot water after arriving on a cold evening - had to take a cold shower (not good for 60+ year old freezing guests). - Read about the great eggs -... The location os great. Unfortunately the owner impose too many rules as if we were to a friend house. Like taking the shoes off even if wr havn't been on the grass , arriving at breakfast just between 8 and 8.15, the toilet is extremely smll, the water has a variable pressure.and not always hot
