Emily and Ken welcome you into their home as if you were one of the family, within minutes we were doing the Highland thing of checking who we knew in common (plenty it turned out). Nothing fancy but all the things you really need, warm welcome, comfortable bed, tasty porridge and very good value for money. Garden looked beautiful but... More

This a wonderful little B&B set in a breathtaking environment with absolutely lovely hosts that made us feel very welcome. Our stay here was the highlight of our journey cross the highlands, we could not have asked for more. Just perfect :)

Having driven past this lovely Lodge - and spectacular gardens - dozens of times, we treated ourselves to a stay in early August. There was only one other guest and we felt as if we had arrived at our own holiday home. No TV, no radio, no tea-making facilities, just a lovely traditional bedroom with a very comfortable bed. We... More

East Lodge is a superb B&B. We arrived by kayak. (they have there own slipway) and were collected by Ken at the Lochside. We were transported up to the accommodation on his quad-bike and trailer. Accommodation and Breakfast were excellent, couldnt fault it. Ken even took us (and picked us up) from the restuarant in the evening..

hosts Emily and Ken are people you must meet. this b&b ticks all the boxes. spotlessly clean warm welcome and conversation that is rare and riveting (no tv thank god) Emily does a super Scottish breakfast incuding Stornaway black pudding. everthing else is covered by anajupears' accurate report.

Highly recommend! We found this lovely b&b just by driving by, spotting a vacancy sign and knocking on the door. Hosts Emily and Ken are great. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Baths are shared, but each room has its own sink, and the bath is just next door to the rooms. The breakfast (full Scottish) was delicious. The... More
