Booked an overnight on basis of reviews on Tripadvisor. Very disappointed and confused by the amazing reviews! On the good side, the bar was old, flagged and with a peat burning fire and quite acceptable. The accommodation was deeply disappointing. The door had a broken lock, the shower was badly stained and provided a dribble of water, despite being told... More

I went up to Scotland for the eclipse and to climb some Munro's and stayed for 3 nights in the Crask Inn. A warm and friendly place and the hosts were excellent. I loved all the hearty food they provided especially the salty porridge and the soups. I saw 2 Golden Eagles too which was just brilliant. I thoroughly recommend... More

Having heard about the Crask Inn for years, I was not disappointed when we stayed there on Saturday, Mike and Kai are so warm and friendly and we had a delicious meal. Perfect place to stop before cycling to Betty Hill.

I arrived here on 16.3.15 about 10:30am. I had spend the previous night camping on Ben Hope. I walked in a was warmly met by a lady owner - I enquired about breakfast and could tell immediately they had had finished serving. Without hesitation Kai called her husband Mike and it was decided i should be fed. They welcomed me... More

The Crask is a jewel of a place. Go there while you can, as the place is for sale due to retirement. Set in the heart of the boggy Flows country, it stands alone & remote. I last visited in 2009 & the news that it was for sale impelled my return. The welcome and scenery was as superb now... More

We were cycling from Ullapool to Bettyhill over a couple of days and advised to call at Crask Inn by a fellow cyclist. It is in a remote location and looked deserted when we arrived, all adding to its aura! We walked in and were greeted by the very friendly landlady and sat down in the living room. She brought... I visited here, as part of a hill-walking small group, to stay at the bunkhouse. It is a very remote place, and if you want TV's, Wifi etc, this place is not for you. But, if you can forgo these for a day, and travel back in time, this is the place to stay. Clean bedding etc, friendly hosts, and... More

We just loved our two days at the Crask Innn.. The lovely hosts ,Mike and Kai made us feel so welcome and warmly shared their home/time/dogs/home cooking with us. We were treated to venison, home grown vegetables,.....and peace and quiet.. Away from wifi and television.... Magnificent setting with the light over the landscape always changing.. Hopefully the simple charm of... More

Having spent a couple of days on horseback, this was a very welcome stop. The front door opens up on to the bar with a peat stove to the side. Pretty good selection of whiskies. The hosts were friendly and the food excellent.
