stayed here for 3 nights in March with friend from Canada - hosts couldn't have been more helpful; accommodation was spotless & very comfortable. Single rooms 'snug', but perfectly adequate. We had a great time exploring the area & hope to return. more

Other reviewers have mentioned the friendliness of the hosts and the beauty and comfort of this inn. I just have to add that they really do go "above and beyond" in providing service to guests. On a business trip to Ireland, we took a brief holiday in Scotland at the Rhinns which was relaxing good fun. Imagine my horror, a... more

I've only just joined Trip Advisor so this review is exactly a year late. However I wanted to comment on our two stays at the Rhins of Galloway, if only to refute the malicious entry at the foot of the page. We very much enjoyed our stays to and from our holiday in Ireland. At only a mile from the... more

This was our second visit to the Rhins. We stayed in the holiday flat this time which was exactly what we needed, Ideal for a family of four. Only wished we were staying for more than one night. The welcome and service from the chaps was excellent as always. Nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was superb. Would thoroughly reccommend to... more

John & Paul couln't be more helpful, they were so kind and considerate. The accommodation was excellent ,the flat was just superb, it is a great place for a romantic stay or with a group of freinds and family, It's not so good for disabled access but I am sure in time it will be, as john and paul have... more

Well, after a problem with road signs ( which the owners cannot be held responsible for) we arrived to a very warm welcome. Parking was plentiful although car park very bumpy, so a little care needs to be taken with low bodied cars. What a wonderful property and very welcoming hosts. Our room was lovely, everything was immaculate, bathroom was... more

Management response from

Sadly, there will always be people in this world of a malicious nature. We are pleased to get extremely good feedback from our guests (as can be seen on our own website guest review page, and other booking site review pages) but unfortunately, we have had two sets of people within the last 6 weeks (on the 14th September, and...

Stayed at the hotel / B&B as had early ferry to Ireland. Although the place has a slight holiday camp feel to it, the rooms have been renovated to hotel standard, decent en-suite, TV. The front desk chap was very helpful. Excellent rates £35. If you need satellite TV, check which rooms / how to access. Snacks and light meals... more
