My wife and I stayed here twice within a week due to taking the Cairnryan ferry to and from Ireland. The most noticeable thing was the proprietors' attention to detail. This may be a guest house but the rooms are akin to the best hotels. Ours was more of a suite with a small hall, a bedroom, a shower/toilet room... More

We stayed here for one night just before Christmas prior to catching the ferry to Belfast. I booked by phone the previous evening, a easy and very pleasant experience. On arrival we were warmly greeted and told that since a suite was available, we could have it at no extra charge. The suite was really lovely with a comfortable lounge,... More

Stayed here at short notice because ferries were all cancelled on the 29th December. On our arrival we were greeted at the door by the owner, sorry we didn't get his name but we were made to feel welcome. He was very informative, telling us the latest about the weather and the ferries, he also told us where we could... More

Stayed here ahead of catching the ferry to Larne the next day. Nice location overlooking the lough. Very friendly greeting and the room was excellent. Breakfast the next morning was good. A peaceful night's sleep - very relaxing. Thoroughly recommended!

Recently a group of friends and I did a trip of Ireland and Scotland. We happened upon this B&B looking for a couple of rooms, at least one on the ground floor. What we found was beyond what we hoped. The gentleman who booked us was so very helpful. Gave us a map to Port Patrick for dinner, made us... More

Cannot fault Rhinns at all. Lovely facilities, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. A great place to stay near Cairnryan ferry terminals. They do not serve alcohol but you can bring your own if you wish.

Arrived On Sunday evening prior to travelling to Ireland the following morning to a very pleasant welcome and were given an upgrade to a suite which was very homely overlooking fields. The owners were extremly helpful and friendly directing us to a local restaurant for our evening meal. The breakfast choice was excellent, and the cooked breakfast was exteremly well... More

We stayed here with friends on the way to Ireland via the Cairnryan P&O ferry. It is a perfect location as it is so close. Don't wait just to go on the ferry, as this B&B is worth a visit in its own right. The whole property is interesting, with quality furnishings all around and a fabulous atmosphere. The bedrooms... Stayed in this B&B for one night. We had passed it on many occasions in the past and had never thought of staying before. It is only a couple of miles from both of the ferry terminals in Cairnryan. Greeted by John, shown to our room, and were amazed at the standard of the fixtures, fittings and layout. The outside... More

We stayed at the Rhins of Galloway on Friday 25 September - it was a stopover before catching the 10.30 Ferry next morning. We were quite late arriving due to Friday traffic and the welcome we received was so very warm and inviting. The room was simply divine, everything you could wish for, amazingly tasteful decor, quality furnishings and a... More
