Stayed in Rhins of Galloway the first night of our holiday touring Scotland and what a great start it was. Our hosts made us feel very welcome the minute we walked through the door. Our room was scrupulously clean well equipped and very very comfortable. The flask of milk given on arrival was a very nice touch and made a... More

The outside appearance belies the gem that lies within. This was an excellent place to stay. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, comfortable, decorated to modern tastes, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was first class. There's even a lounge for guests to relax in. The owners have thought of everything down to the tiniest detail.... More

We stayed here the night before catching the ferry and found it absolutely excellent. We had a suite with separate sitting room, which had a huge tv, comfy sofas, as well as tea, coffee and biscuits. The hosts offered us a small flask of fresh milk, which I was only too pleased to take. What a nice touch. The bedroom... More

Like many other reviewers, I stayed at the Rhins the night beofre catching the ferry from Cairnryan. I stayed in the Garden Suite which was very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and very spacious. Delightful and charming hosts who were extremely accommodating and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble for them. Lovely breakfast in the morning before heading out. I... More

I stayed at the Rhins of Galloway for 5 nights and found the whole place to be excellent. The booking was made following recommendations received by friends who had previously stayed and said how excellent it was. Upon arrival I found the owners to be very friendly and welcoming and the Garden Suite which was booked was immaculate and very... More

As a repeat visitor it is reassuring to find standards have been maintained since last staying here. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, showers which provide invigorating pressure and plenty of hot water. If you are leaving very early to catch a ferry, you will need to forego their excellent sitdown breakfasts but they will leave you a coldbox with yoghurt, and... More

My husband and I have stayed here for a number of years both before and after the Ferry crossing, we have had nothing but excellent service, our hosts are friendly attentive, helpful and very accommodating, I especially appreciate the personal little touches, like magnums for my husband. My regret is that due to my husbands health unfortunately we may not... More

The reviews by others were so exceptionally good that we hardly believed them, but they are absolutely spot on. This place has everything that a small guest house should have. Very friendly and helpful hosts, superb breakfast in a lovely dining room, comfortable, clean, spacious rooms, and all the little touches that you would put into a place that you... More

The Rhins of Galloway is a great place to stay after taking the ferry to Cairnryan Scotland. The owners were very helpful and made wife and I very at home. The suite we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. It even had a small Kitchen if you are so inclined to do your own cooking. Well worth the stay.
