We visited the area for a midweek getaway and Cairnryan House was the perfect place to stay. Our room was large and spacious and the owners were friendly and helpful. We had to leave before breakfast on our last morning, and the owners provided us with a bag of rolls and fruit for our journey. more

After a warm welcome, Kay and Steve ensured that we had everything we needed. Having traveled a lot themselves they know what traveling is all about and are very helpful . They have put up the rooms with anything you could ask for and the beds are wonderful to sleep in and the views are smashing. When I had left... more

Room had views of the loch which was very nice, good comfy bed, courtesy tray etc. Breakfast was equally good, lots to choose from in the way of cereal and other bits and a very nice freshly cooked breakfast. We think we received very good hospitality from the hosts and the... more

B&B situated close to P&O ferry on Loch Ryan about 5 miles from Stranraer. We paid £52/night for a double booked via Visit Scotland. Room OK, quite comfortable with side view along coast with everything you need. Only comments are miniscule shower/toilet ensuite room & wash basin was in the main room - not in the en suite so not... more

My husband and I didn't have anything booked and was lucky enough to get into this charming B&B. The location was spot on minutes from the ferry port. The breackfast was second to none and set us up for the day. I would recomend this B&B but make sure you book, we were lucky to get in. more

Kay and Steve make you truly welcome. The house is immaculate and extremely comfortable. Spacious bedroom with amazing view over Loch Ryan and linen sheets on the bed, not just a duvet. The cleanest and most sparkling bathroom I have ever seen. Slept extremely well, for 10 hours and woke up to receive a fabulous cooked breakfast in the dining... more

Room a tad small and the walls are a touch thin, but otherwise friendly and with great views across the loch. Nice cooked breakfast too. more
