Would we recommend this B&B? - Absolutely. Margaret is friendly and helpful. This place is absolutely spotless, beds are comfortable, linens are very nice and the breakfast is delicious. Yes, the rooms are small, but as we were there just for the night until we caught the mid morning ferry, we only took in an overnight bag and there was... More

This is my 3rd time here, and as always is excellent, though the carpark park is small probably just enough space for all the rooms cars. Always a warm and welcoming greeting from Margaret and hubby. The room itself is spacious and clean as is the shower room. Excellent wifi. As I leave for the ferry they'll do me a... More

When we arrived we were greeted my Margaret, who made us very welcome. We were given the choice of two rooms, both were very nice, but we chose the one with the walkin shower. The room was very cosy on the cold night we arrived. The bed was so comfortable so we both slept well. The bedding and towels were... More

Stayed overnight at the guest house with a few relatives as we were getting the early morning 7.30am ferry. Arrived late at the guesthouse after a bust day at work, a bit tired. We were warmly welcomed by Margaret. We booked three rooms - all had ensuite facilities and each was beautifully decorated with lovely bedding and furnishings. The ensuites... More

We stayed at the B&B the night before our ferry to Belfast. It is close to the Stena Line and Margaret the owner is a great source of local information on what to do. We had the deluxe double at the front with a generous ensuite. The room was immaculate, the bathroom had everything you needed and we enjoyed our... More

we arrived in the dark and heavy rain having driven a long distance and were made very welcome by Margaret. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast menu was extensive and it was delicious. It is situated directly opposite the ferry port which made it very convenient as we were catching the ferry to Larne next morning. We... More

A lovely B&B, easy to find, very comfy, very friendly proprietor, excellent breakfast, puts hotel buffet breakfast to shame. Would definitely return here, spotless room, Sky TV, wifi and ideal for the ferries. The real treat was a fresh cooked rhubarb and yoghurt starter and haggis with your cooked breakfast, yum yum!

To be honest I had read the reviews on this hotel only a fe days before my stay. I was dreading the stay based on the poor review someone else had just given relating to 24th July. However was I surprised and thankful !!!!! The B and B was very close to the P&O ferry terminal. We had a warm... More
