Have stayed here on a few occasions, and each time it is lovely. The James guest house is an unsupervised b&b and there are plenty of amenities to make your stay pleasant. Lovely choice of self service breakfast and the beds are comfy. Will be back to stay again in october :-)

At James Guest house its all DIY. We have never stayed anywhere like this before and we really enjoyed it. Having been given all the information on the phone, it was pretty much please yourself from there. We stayed for just 1 night. Room was spotless, bed very comfortable and in a quiet location.Plenty of parking. Excellent facilities in the... More

Owner was extremely professional, guest house is perfectly located for NEC and airport, harvester is five mins walk away, room was clean and modern, bathroom was clean and spacious, kitchen was clean and there was food in the fridge and cupboards so you could just help yourself to food when ever. All in all excellent value for money. 100% recommend... More

Stopped for a night heading for the NEC (just a very short drive away). Very clean and glad we booked the room with ensuite. Good Harvester pub 5 minutes walk away for dinner. Breakfast was a bit unusual as do it yourself, but plenty of choice. The only thing that spoilt it was a guest parked over the drive and... More

This really is a wonderful little place to stay. Everything is immaculate and beautifully clean and it feels like a real home away from home. At breakfast I was expecting a loaf or cereal but there was absolutely everything you could possibly wish for! I hope to have the excuse to stay again and will encourage others to do the... More

I've stayed at James Guest House for quite a few years now when going to an annual exhibition at the NEC, and in recent years I have travelled up from London on the train and bus rather than driving. I have slept mostly in the en suite triple room called Janice upstairs at the front, but last year I was... More

We stopped here as we were visiting an event at the NEC. It's immaculately clean throughout and rooms were well proportioned for a B&B. It was full of lovely touches like guest lounge, well stocked tea trays and a pretty garden. Would thoroughly recommend.

We stayed in the James suite. It has a lounge and an ensuite, and has a door overlooking the lovely garden, with a door leading into the kitchen. The rooms were clean and light, and the wifi was working perfectly - something that has been a problem in some other places we have stayed in. The kitchen is self service,... More

Me and my husband stayed at the guest house while in the area as we were going to see a show at the LG arena.
