Went to a wedding nearby and needed somewhere local to stay. Pub looks a bit tatty, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Looks like the room had recently been refurbished (room 2). Saniflow system was noisy when using the bathroom. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. Was still a fat smell in the corridor as... More

Stayed here for one night after attending a wedding. The Carpet to the rooms is sticky and dirty, the corridor smells of chip fat and although the room was O.K the overall impression put me off upon arrival. If you are returning to the hotel after 11pm you need to use the side door which takes you down an alley... More

Stayed here for 1 night as visiting NEC. The pub looks old and tired from the front, there are some huge potholes on the entry to the car park. Our twin room was clean, however the window had a huge crack in it, there was a large stain on the carpet, there was no handwash or soap in the bathroom,... More

Stayed here with my sons for one night as visiting NEC next day. Room neat and tidy, we'll fitted bathroom, on second floor so quiet. Restaurant sold good value meals and the breakfast in the morning was basic but excellent. Ideal venue for short stay on a tight budget visiting Birmingham or NEC as just a few miles up the... More

We stayed here for one night after a trip to a concert at the NEC and it was just what we needed. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They also made a real effort to make sure I was catered for at breakfast (I am vegan). Overall, excellent value for money... More

Stayed the 1 night as all the Hotels around the NEC were pretty full or very expensive. Room was nice size and clean, bathroom was being redecorated which there was a sign saying that so wasnt a problem although a window blind would have been nice. A table/desk would also have been nice as i had work to do and... More

Stayed for one night in this pub/hotel. This is ideal for a 1 night/2 night stay. The room and en-suite were spotless, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. The food was plentiful and beautifully cooked. Conveniently situated for Birmingham City Centre and its various attractions and the NEC for concerts or shows. It is... More
