Stayed over Easter, because we were visiting family nearby. Had a lovely well equipped room with a comfortable bed and even a plush settee to laze in and watch TV. Everything spotless and just so. The best rooms are in a beautiful Georgian townhouse immediately across the road from the bar and restuarant part of the outfit. This means you... More

I don't normally write reviews but felt I had to with this hotel. Me,my partner and our 7 year old daughter stay here. We arrived at around 9.15 after a long drive down from Yorkshire, we entered our room to find our daughters bed hadn't been made up and was still a setee, my partner struggled for 30minutes to get... Thanks for your review. We are really sorry that you did not have a great stay. On recognising that there was an issue with your hot water in your room. We understand that the duty manager went above and beyond assisting you, by moving a bed out of another room, so this would enable you to have a family room.... More

Second time we have stayed at this hotel. We stayed before flying out from Birmingham at Christmas and loved it so much we decided to spend the Easter break there. Nice comfortable hotel ideal if you want to spend some time shopping in Birmingham (there is a bus stop just a few paces down the street). Couldn't fault the ladies... More

Just had a fantastic week-end at this comfortable and friendly hotel. All the staff- the lovely lady who checked us in, the bar staff, the cleaning ladies, the restaurant staff etc. were all friendly and helpful. We were in room 23 in the annex over the road. The large room had obviously been recently re-furbished and had a lovely bathroom... More

Went for a meal with my husband,it was our first visit here,it was a Friday and not busy in the restaurant but the service was poor, there was food missing from the dish, no-one checked back so had to go and ask, waited about 30 mins for someone to come and ask for another drink, eventually someone came over. We... More

We are unsure on what date you visited, but can assure all future guests this does not reflect our high standards of service. We have great team members at the hotel and plentiful. Unfortunately we booked this hotel before reading other reviews. Our bedroom was small, stuffy, and overheated. Opening the window let in the traffic noise and the fumes and noise from the smokers who congregated outside the front door. I think this establishment needs to decide whether it wants to offer somewhere comfortable for people to sleep or whether it wants... More

Thanks for your review on Trip Advisor. We are sorry that you did not enjoy the hotel. We would like to confirm that smoking is not permitted at the main entrance at the hotel and that we have a beautiful courtyard smoking area at the rear of the hotel. Unfortunately we are situated on a busy high street and noise... More

We stayed in the tudor annexe of the Coleshill Hotel which was advertised as a 'Family Room', however, access was from the street along from the hotel, through a very rickety front door and up a st.ep staircase which opened directly into the room (with no safety gate/barrier for children, which you would have thought essential). We arrived quite late... More

Thanks for your review. We are really sorry that you did not enjoy the 17th Century cottage during your visit to England. It such a shame as this historic building is most popular will all of our guests. We are unsure on your comments with regards to the heating and hot water as normally this is plentiful. We are really... More

We stayed Friday and Saturday night. Room was OK, food was good. Breakfast was excellent. However the bar downstairs played very loud music until 1am and there was much shouting and swearing from outside which ruined the weekend. The room was hot and stuffy, and we couldn't open the window because that increased the noise,

Thanks for your review on Trip Advisor. We are sorry that you found the busy vibrant bar noisy on Firday and Saturday evening. Thanks for the great feedback on the great breakfast. We do have quiet rooms located in the hotel and in the annex and would be happy to allocate you one of these in future. More

This is a decent hotel in pleasant village just off the M42. There is parking, wifi and a pub plus restaurant on site. The rooms are a decent size and clean. Food is pretty good downstairs. I had a steak for dinner (though they only had large not small steaks). I even had a voucher in the room for a... More
