Stayed here when we when to the nec for an expo. Parking right next to the hotel with plenty of spaces. On arrival we were greated by a man on reception called Mike, nice guy, he told us that at the weekend the bar would be busy and there would be loud music until 1am. It was. A bit of... More

Very reasonable price, friendly staff. Big room with clean sheets, clean bathroom, plastic bath with plentiful hot water. If travelling in this area, it's a bed. But don't detour. On the downside it's 10 years overdue a refurb; the public areas are very tired, with really grubby carpets, woodchip wallpaper, lacklustre bar. this is not the fault of the staff,... More

We stayed on a Saturday night. We were offered a upgrade and took it as the room was more comfortable with a four poster bed. We were fully aware that this room is above a bar that's open til 1am. We were not bothered by this. However be aware that you will not sleep til gone 1am on the weekend... More

My wife & I stayed here for two nights ( 25th & 26th March 2012 ) on a bed and breakfast basis. Because I have some mobility problems we were given a ground floor room located in the annex directly accross the road from the main building. Usually an annex is not as good as the main accomodation. But this... More

Have just returned from a night away at the Coleshill Hotel we stayed in the Annexe which is across the road. Room was spacious and the bathroom had everything bath with over head shower. Excellent value for money at £30 B&B per room. Steaks were cooked to perfection and breakfast was nice and hot and plentyfull

Stayed again at this hotel mid March. Everything was fine until the pub ran out of two beers! Not good planning it seems & I had to revert to wine! Rooms nice, warm & clean as usual.

This hotel was a good find for a short stay, at a sensible price when visiting the NEC for an event. It is part of a small group, 'Old English Hotels' that I have found to be full of character as opposed to the main chains. The B&B price was also much less than the actual 'NEC hotels' when I...
