I have visited three times in the past 2 months - the first for a meeting in the Cameo suite (did not stay the night) and the next two where I had booked my own event in the Cameo Suite plus I stayed the night on each occasion. The Cameo Suite is good value and ideal for business meetings. It... more

The event went well until as a resident of the hotel I went into the residents bar where there were many non-residents drinking. The manager (Andy)of the hotel was acting aggressively to some of the guests and mistook me for one of the group he was shouting at. The manager started shouting at me and I asked him to stop... more

First of all I have to say please do not rely on Sat Nav to find Coleshill!! it doesn't recognise anywhere in the town at all! it will send you to the centre of Birmingham! Ok got to the hotel and found that everyone in this hotel was really friendly, especially being a woman on my own, they really looked... more

I picked The Coleshill Hotel after searching the internet for hotels close to the NEC - so my friend and I could stay close by after going to a concert. I'm delighted I picked the Coleshill Hotel as it was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived early on a Saturday afternoon. The staff were helpful but not intrusive... more

We were looking forward to a restful stay. Ideal for access to Brimingham and the town is fairly quiet. booked in, well at least tried to...waited a while for someone to attend to the main reception desk. If the girl on the reception said 'not a problem' once more I would have said something...so irritating...mind you it was probably the... more

This hotel is one of the worst-run I've ever stayed in - and believe me, I've stayed in a few! No hot water the afternoon of my arrival; being told I couldn't eat in the restaurant as they had a party of 12 booked in and couldn't cope with any more; breakfast finishing bang on 9am... And, worst of all,... more

service below average, food standard just acceptable but expect hot food to be cold. Table service extremely poor and had to wait what it seemed like ages between meal courses. Service lacked standard and etiquette! Complained about poor service but it fell on deaf ears, not surprising that this hotel lacks acceptable standard if they're not prepared to even listen.... more

Myself and several colleagues stayed here while attending a training course in Birmingham Business Park. The hotel had been suggested because of its location close to some decent restaurants. There certainly are a number of restaurants in Coleshill and it is less stark than a hotel in a business park but the hotel itself was dissappointing. The room had all... more

If you have reason to complain about your room in this hotel (and there's a good chance you will), don't bother speaking to Andy Robinson about it, as you'll end up in the hotel next door. He's a man who resorts to bare-faced lies when dealing with customer complaints and wouldn't know what customer service was if he choked on... more
