Rooms clean and comfy. Continental breakfast is lovely with a good choice of items. Some staff are friendly (Kimberly), some aren't. If you prefer a dark room ask not to overlook the police car park. Security lights make it so bright I had to buy an eye mask! The carvery is just ok. Food is lukewarm and the meat is... More

What a little gem a hotel with a crown carvery and a pint of Stella 4 for just over £2.30 a pint, room 215 was a clean single room with heating, sure it's not a 5 star establishment but your also not paying 5 star prices, great little place in town centre location with plenty of parking

Stayed at the hotel for two nights 20th to 22nd February. Checking in was slightly uncomfortable, the young lady was very quite and we could not hear what's she was saying most of the time. I understand this lady was a waitress but her closed were slightly tired looking and not very well presented. The rooms were clean, bedding was... More

Stayed here 1 night in February 2015. The room was spacious and reasonably furnished. The breakfast was ok, but unrefined. There was no semblance of premium about the service with staff being effective but not welcoming. The parking was adequate and easy to use. The shower was a little low on water pressure. It was strange that having taken the... More
