We had a lovely one night stay at this lovely B & B and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if in Rochester. We stayed in the double room with the four poster bed and it was clean, warm and very quaint with everything we needed and although our room was on the main road it was quiet. The bed... More

Well, for starters, please ignore the negative reviews of this charming bed and breakfast and its lovely owner, Mrs Thomas. My partner and I recently spent a weekend here and have nothing but happy memories of our stay. The interior of Mrs Thomas' family home IS Victorian and old fashioned, but it certainly is in no way dirty or smelly,... More

I stayed at this place when walking the North Downs Way, last April, in a room with private shower and wash basin. Full and fabulous English Breakfast. Good value for money. (and + the sympathy and helpfullness of Mrs. Thomas.)

Amazing value. Good location. Good Hostess. Clean. Good breakfast. All for £25!!!! Whilst I can understand those that prefer the luxuries of say the Hilton, this is not a place of such luxury and refinement, with a mint on your pillow and champagne on arrival, if your after such dont look here. Also im sure the slightly dated decor for... More

Where does one begin! whilst working in the area I had the misfortune of a very.. very short stay with a number of work colleagues at 225. First impressions were that I had taken a wrong turn on Rochester High Street and ended up in Pinewood Studio in the making of Oliver Twist and we'd ended up on the Work... More

This B&B is only two minutes walk from Rochester station, so is very convenient and is also very convenient to the city centre and all the amenities including the castle and the cathedral and the many interesting shops. Mrs E. Thomas is very welcoming and helpful and provides a good, full English breakfast followed by toast and coffee. She is... More

Don't ever let your mother-in-law book your hotel for you, especially when she's angry at her son! This B&B is easily the worst place I've ever stayed. Horrible part of town (two doors down, there was blood on the steps!), filth and dirt like I've never seen, beds from 1965, decor from 1978 (a great year for design). That's before... More
