I highly recommend a stay at the Cedar House B&B for travellers spending time in Rochester or even for those visiting London (it's a short train ride to central London). The Cedar House is the quintessential B&B experience - cosy, comfortable and clean, within easy walking distance of Rochester's picturesque heart and the quiet riverfront - it makes for a... More

Cedar House is a fantastic B & B about 15 minutes walk from Rochester town centre. The host Joe and Alison who run the place are really welcoming and cook a delicious full English breakfast! They even have gluten free choices on request. Our room was huge with a very comfortable bed, couch and a great view. Bathroom is modern with... More

My husband and I spent two nights here in late September. Our room was large and comfortable and we slept well. The breakfasts were amazing! Really good home cooking. Our hosts went out of their way to be informative about the area and recommended places to visit and to eat in. All in all, a wonderful couple of days. We... More

A lovely comfortable family run B&B with easy walk to Rochester centre. The room I had was well appointed, with a comfortable bed and warm. The en-suite was small but immaculate and the shower itself was roomy and plenty of hot water. My room looked to the front but that was a pleasant enough view as the location is high... More

Host Joe and Alison were very friendly and accommodating. House and rooms very clean and comfortable. Nice little touches made it feel a cut above the norm. ( Nero Eggs and home made fudge and cookies) You will need to stay to find out? They also helped out with their local knowledge with directions that saved us time and money.

A big thank you to Alison and Joe for looking after us. Such lovely friendly people and their guest house is so beautiful. A wonderful quiet room and spacious too. Everything was perfect and Alison's homemade bread and biscuits are delicious! We will be back!

We arrived tired after a long flight from Australia and were greeted by Allison our lovely host. She showed us to our room "The Putting Green" and we immediately knew this was going to be a luxurious stay. With delicious breakfasts, comfortable beds, thick towel sheets and fastidiously clean amenities, I would recommend Cedar House as the place to stay... More

We stayed in the Temeraire room which was beautiful and very spacious. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Alison and Joe were excellent hosts. We all loved Alison's little homemade treats! Very comfortable and cosy! Located in a lovely part of town with a gentle stroll down the hill on a footpath to the centre of historic old Rochester. I love to walk so this was a treat for me. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and served in the elegant dining room. My daughter and I shared the... More
