We stayed at the North Downs Barn for 2 nights and we had a great stay. The house is big and beautiful and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Alison the owner, was lovely and very welcoming. The barn has a great sitting area of you want to read a book or just have a chat with friends. I would... More

We stayed here for 1 night on our return from a motor biking holiday to France. This beautiful Barn conversion was excellent, the room was bright, clean, comfortable and overlooked the Stables at the rear and the countryside beyond. Alison the owner was warm and friendly and made us a pot of tea on our arrival, which we took in... More

We hired all the rooms for the bride, bridesmaids, parents of the bride and 5 year old to prepare for a Wedding in nearby Cobham Church. There were make up and hair artists who took over the lounge and Alison the owner was just so helpful. She made us all feel so at home, and nothing was too much trouble... More

Lovely welcome, charming building. Wonderful quality bed and linen. Lovely big shower and big bath towels. Room overlooked stables which particularly appealing to me. We were walking the North Downs Way so Alison gave us a lift to the pub for supper which is actually only about a mile away, but was very welcome after walking all day. It was... More

Great place with plenty to do in the area with amazing scenery. Alison the owner is a lovely lady and great to chat to! As soon as you arrived you feel more than welcome instantly and almost at home. For the price you pay its outstanding value for money and I'm sure they should probably consider reviewing their rates because... More

“You'll love North Downs Barn B&B, it’s better than any hotel you have stayed in”, said Tony, my long time political pal, when we were planning to go to travel down to Rochester to help in the by-election being held on the 20th November 2014 - he wasn’t wrong either. Tony had stayed there before when he had gone to... More

We stayed just one night as we were attending a friend's 50th birthday party nearby. The pictures on the website really don't do the place justice - we arrived as it was getting dark and the barn was lit up by candle-light so it looked really welcoming. The room we were given was huge with great views and it was... More

This is my second review of a wonderful B&B. This time I stayed in two of the other bedrooms and I was pleasantly surprised of the first class standard. Great beds, beautifully clean linen, TV, tea and coffee facilities in room. Great friendly welcome but left alone to feel at home. The lady remembers what you like. Breakfast summed up... More

I stayed over the late bank holiday weekend of May 2014 as a single traveller on a visit to a friend's wedding. Communication up to my visit was flawless via email and telephone. Alison demonstrated superb customer/guest service professionally but also took enough interest to make my own visit as easy and enjoyable as possible. For example, before my arrival... More

I had mixed feelings about staying in a bed and breakfast. I was travelling on my own and wondered if this would suit me. I can honestly say this is truly a four star bed and breakfast. Beautiful accommodation with nice touches in the rooms, tea, coffee, biscuits. Dressing gown and lovely towels and pillows made my trip so relaxing... More
