I stayed here for 3 weeks while working in Rochester, rooms were pleasant, the cleaner made the beds every day, food downstairs was excellent and wasn't to pricey, bar staff were friendly and helpful, I would defiantly stay here again!

I went with a small party to the King's Head in Rochester yesterday. Everyone in our party agreed that the food was excellent, the beer and other drinks were good and reasonably priced, and the staff were all friendly, efficient and highly professional. All in all therefore it proved to be a most enjoyable experience, and I would certainly recommend... More

We had been to Rochester before but were only passing through, my Husband had said that it would be nice to stay there, so we were in the area and on our way back home we decided to stay at The Kings Head for the last night. When we arrived, our first impression was that it was lovely, the entrance... More

Average room......a little dirty......no tea or coffee-making facilities. No breakfast included! Wished we had stayed at a B&B up the road. I am afraid the best thing about this place is the location.

We went for the Sunday Carvery to test the water in case we wanted to book room it was the worst meal we have had the misfortune to taste meat was thick and tough, all of it was cold, roast potatoes were rock hard and dipped in something brown to make them look like roast. The only edible part was... More

I went back to the UK for my mums funeral, not a perfect way to go back to the UK but I contacted the Kings Head to see if they could accomodate me at short notice and Dominic, Damien and all of the staff went all out to make sure I was comfortable and looked after while I was there.... More

I was looking for a room where my daughter could stay, one night a week, whilst she was at University. After a long and tiring day trawling Rochester for Bed & Breakfasts I came upon the King's Head Hotel which is in a lovely, atmospheric High Street with plenty of restaurants for her to choose from. The barman Dom was... More

I don't usually write reviews but after the amazing stay that myself and my partner had I just had to share. Both stressed out over work with no chance of a holiday in sight we decided just to get away for the weekend nearby but only problem is there is no one to look after our dogs. I googled hotels... Carpet was very worn and dirty. The noise outside was terrible no sleep for two nights. Rochester is such a nice place to stay... More
