My boyfriend and I stayed at this inn for one night. The room was clean and simply but stylishly decorated with a black & white theme, a black chandelier, fresh white paint, and elegant wall paper. That's the good part. Now for the bad, and I will go in chronological order: First, our room was en suite, and the toilet... More

We came up from London for the night and had never been to Rochester before and didn't know anything about the area,we found this place accidentally and so glad we did, the food was so amazing and so much of it, the staff where so friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend this pub to have anyone, love the old... More

We didn't stay in the hotel, we went in for lunch. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. We have 2 young children. The children's menus are also colouring sheets for the kids to do. As the colouring pencils didn't work on the coated sheets, the staff went out and purchased colouring pens for the kids to use. Outstanding... More

Stayed at this hotel last week and was disappointed, to say the least. I was 'welcomed' by being told that I didn't have a reservation and must be in the wrong place. I had to show my call list history in my mobile to prove I'd actually called. (The person who answered the phone did seem quite busy and clearly... More

We turned up at this pub after driving 160 miles down south for a family members party. We were then greeted by a mocking tone on 'here they are!' and immediately knew something was up. Then we were greeted by the manager (who we were later told was a new one at that) who proceeded to inform us that one... More

I stayed here for 3 weeks while working in Rochester, rooms were pleasant, the cleaner made the beds every day, food downstairs was excellent and wasn't to pricey, bar staff were friendly and helpful, I would defiantly stay here again!

I went with a small party to the King's Head in Rochester yesterday. Everyone in our party agreed that the food was excellent, the beer and other drinks were good and reasonably priced, and the staff were all friendly, efficient and highly professional. All in all therefore it proved to be a most enjoyable experience, and I would certainly recommend... More

We had been to Rochester before but were only passing through, my Husband had said that it would be nice to stay there, so we were in the area and on our way back home we decided to stay at The Kings Head for the last night. When we arrived, our first impression was that it was lovely, the entrance... More

Average room......a little dirty......no tea or coffee-making facilities. No breakfast included! Wished we had stayed at a B&B up the road. I am afraid the best thing about this place is the location.

We went for the Sunday Carvery to test the water in case we wanted to book room it was the worst meal we have had the misfortune to taste meat was thick and tough, all of it was cold, roast potatoes were rock hard and dipped in something brown to make them look like roast. The only edible part was... More
