We visited No 68 for three days from August 31st to September 2nd. We stayed in the Chinese Room and loved everything in it (including the painted furniture). The house has been refurbished and decorated in true period style of 1906. The homecooked breakfasts were a delight and Mike's information skills for finding things to do and places to go... more

I have just spent an extremely enjoyable stay at Number 68. This B & B is a breath of fresh air. With carefully chosen decor to fit the French roomed theme, this was a pleasure to stay in. The breakfast cooked using local produce prepared exactly to our requests-possibly the best scrambled egg this year! The owner friendly and welcoming... more

Having seen the wonderful reviews for this B&B I cannot tell you how dissapointed I was when faced with the reality of a somewhat average B&B. The lavender in the French room was not fresh, it was in fact a plug in horrible smelly artificial air freshener. The room consisted of old junk furniture badly painted. Overall the whole property... more

I agree with all above. I was there with my father and we got offered 2 rooms at no extra charge. The owner is very nice the breakfast gorgeous. Best in Town. Avoid the Copperfields Vegetarian Guesthouse: as I wrote in my review it is more expensive and the owners are rude 68 is the place to go. more

Fantastic place to stay. The whole house is clean and beautifully decorated. The rooms look superb and you're looked after very well - breakfast was amazing. I had been staying at a hotel in Ramsgate which was more expensive and not nearly as nice. Not any more. more

Number 68 is a truly great B&B. We normally hate B&Bs as they are very cramped but the Chinese room at number 68 is spacious with the most comfortable superking bed. They have everything including herbal teas! The breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit and Greek yougurt and a full cooked breakfast if you can manage it. The location is... more

We stayed at Number 68 during a weekend break from London and it was absolutely perfect for a relaxing couple of days. It was very easy to find from the train station (about a 10-15 minute walk) and is in a great location for walking to all the amenities of Broadstairs, including the beach and shops. The house itself is... more

What a great, charming little find. This b&b has three very nicely decorated rooms. We stayed in the Chinese room which was large with a very nice bathroom and decorated perfectly to match the theme. My mother stayed in the French room which had a lovely smell of suttle lavender and rural French decor. The owners were so helpful and... more

I have just spent the weekend at "Number 68" B&B/Guesthouse at Broadstairs in Kent and would recommend it most highly. The B&B has three bedrooms, all individually themed and decorated. It is in a lovely Edwardian Villa on a quiet street, with the sea just a few steps away at the end of the street. The sandy beach is about... more
