Thank you Royal Albion for a lovely short break, even better than last time and that was good! Room 15 was wonderful and the roll top bath a must! Please pass on my thanks to the wonderful cheery breakfast staff... Nothing was too much trouble. Also many thanks for being able to accommodate my change of dates at relatively short... More

The service is very good from the moment that you enter the front doors. The rooms are also very good, I have now stayed in this Hotel since September 2014 until March 2015 on a regular basis. I have stayed in both street facing rooms and rooms with a sea view. The service at breakfast is excellent the staff being... More

A historical hotel, with wonderful views across the sea. It does get very busy. Rooms are perfectly reasonable and with a great location if you are on holiday. The hotel is a bit jaded and the signs to the hotel rooms are hopeless; the way to rooms 33 and 32 seems to be a secret. This is a busy hotel... More

Firstly the hotel has no parking so be aware of this. The hotel will provide you with a voucher to use for the public car parks but obviously you need to check in first. The hotel itself is clean but may be in need of a little maintenance work (especially in the narrow corridors). Also, I could be wrong, but... More

I have been going to this Hotel for the past 30 years! It is very handy situated in the heart of Broadsides town. I have stayed in a few of the rooms. They are all lovely especially the ones looking out to sea. I try and go there every year and can't wait till i book again. You can eat... More

Having a monopoly as only central hotel means you get the views, the charm and the fact that Nicholas Nickleby was written in an upstairs room etc However parts of the building are in need of refurb such as the corridors and stairwells. Room itself was was smart with double aspect and a great bathroom. We found the water not... More

Great characterful hotel. Comfortable bed. Room was a little chilly on a cold day but a fan heater provided in a cupboard soon did the trick. TV rather tiny but OK for brief periods of watching. Some minor traffic noise on the street side as expected. The breakfast was more than adequate and service very good. Excellent bar and lounge... More

The Royal Albion is one of the most attractive buildings on Broadstairs seafront, Charles Dickens was a frequent visitor. We enjoyed a two day break including dinner at the end of February. Our delightful room was cosy, with an excellent bathroom overlooking Viking Bay. The only downside being there was only one armchair a second chair would have been preferable... More

We thought the location of the Royal Albion was fabulous. It was a cold day, & sitting in the bar looking out to the misty coastline was great. It is also situated close to loads of bars & restaurants. The bar serves local beer as well as standard one's & quite reasonably priced. They use the Cloud WIFI, so be... More

My husband and I arrived on a Friday night and was greeted by a friendly, helpful member of staff. Our room, which had a sea view was clean, pleasantly decorated with a queen size bed. The room was well stocked with a nice selection of toiletries, a shoe shinning kit, sewing kit and a box of tissues. There was ample... More
