I booked this hotel as I wanted a night in broadstairs by the sea to loose my troubles and find some peace. It's the first time I have ever booked a hotel to stay alone and was unsure how the experience might leave me. The staff were incredibly accommodating and welcoming and my whole experience was exceptional. The room I... More

This hotel, where Charles Dickens wrote part of his books, is quaint, cosy, comfortable and attractive - and in a perfect Broadstairs location, central and seafront. We particularly enjoyed our sea view room. We had a reception in their dining room and they executed this very well, without fuss.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable and had great views from the balcony. Managed to get 3G in room. Bathrobes, toiletries and tea coffee facilities provided. No car park, but hotel staff gave us a 24hr free parking voucher for the car park 2mins walk away. We had a... More

We stayed for 2 nights in January for my birthday. The hotel is nice, friendly receptionist who let us check in slightly early, however when we got to our room (12) I was a bit disappointed. We'd booked the top tier but the room was a lot smaller than the pictures on the website and it had no bath. After... More

Popped in for breakfast with our dog after a walk on Saturday morning. Place was busy. We were seated in the bar area with a lovely view of the garden overlooking the bay! Breakfast came without the black pudding as per menu. Just felt eggs had been sitting for awhile and on the whole the breakfast could have been better!... More

My partner and I stayed here for my birthday and what a present it was. The views, staff and general ambience were great. With views out to sea and great food. The Royal Albion Hotel is clean, modern with great service.

We spent a night here between Christmas and New Year. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was excellent, clean, modern, with great views out to sea. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and the food was consistently good, with an excellent wine list. This isn't a big hotel which is part of its charm, but... More

We booked a superior double with sea view for ourselves and a single room for my elderly mother for the three days of Christmas. The superior double (with superior price) was so small you had to move the heavy chairs and table to get to the closet. The doors out to the shared roof balcony didn't functon properly. The single... A professional and welcoming front desk, the room was cozy and warm despite the wintry weather outside. The decor is so classy, beautiful crisp white bed linen, tasteful light fittings and the bathroom was stunning, I didn't want to leave! The free breakfast was great and includes a buffet but also hot meals made to order! The dining room staff... More
