I stay regularly (4 times/year) at the Royal Albion, I have never been disappointed. It's a charming hotel, ideally located on the seafront. Broadstairs is a nice little seaside town, to my opinion so typically British. The hotel is clean, very traditional, the rooms are comfortable, but try to get a double sea-facing, the view is great when you open... More

I visited this hotel very last minute, with my son (6yrs). It's a charming hotel...old windy staircases, traditional English seaside backdrop. I would highly recommend it! The hotel were happy for my son and I to sit in the bar during the evening - quite an array of clientele...from elderly ladies, dressed up in evening dress and pearls, to young(er... More

this a very good hotel to eat and sleep with great views of the sea and beach, no lift but staff will take bags to room if needed. There is a great outside eating and drinking area. Broadstairs is a very good place to visit for all the family.

My husband and I checked-in on the Bank Holiday Friday for 1 night; we were met by a really helpful man on reception (sorry didn't get his name) who gave us hotel info and arranged for our bags to get to our room without us having to ask. Our room was sea facing on the 3rd floor, modern, clean and... More

Fabulous weekend here. My husband took me as a birthday treat. The staff are warm and welcoming, the bar is well stocked, the location is perfect and the views from the balcony from the bar are just stunning. We were so lucky with the warm weather and spent time both evenings out on the balcony and also were able to... More

We didn't stay here but had morning coffee twice and one lunch during our time in Broadstairs. Lots of tables outside, many in shade, made this a good place to stop after a long walk along the cliff path. We had lunch inside and the sandwiches were delicious, one of our party said that the steak pie was the best... More

Looks like Fish and Chips is becoming the signature dish by which I rate some eateries but theirs was pretty awesome and something I would expect from an up-market coastal town. We weren't staying at the hotel but nipped in for lunch. Beautifully located on the sea front above a golden sandy beach. All three of us were very pleased... More

We havn't stayed here yet, but plan to as we had lunch on their very nice terrace overlooking the beach last month. Food was tasty and reasonably priced, good service and a great setting. Our first time in lovely Broadstairs and looking forward to staying here when we come back. I would recommend!

Great location right on seafront. Grand old building constructed in 18th century. Pleasant well appointed airy room. Better to have sea facing room if you can get one! Bed a bit spongy. Lovely big bathroom. Very clean all round. Facilities good. Bar nice, great beer but food a bit pricey and not great value, however there are restaurants just next... More
