It REALLY did feel like home only better and with the butler in bonus. Was it the entrance with its fire roaring or the normal size staircase? Or the fact that we had to use the kitchen door after 5pm I cannot say.... We enjoyed tremendously our Easter week end. We arrived on Easter Friday with a bleak, foggy, cold... More

Lovely venue and welcoming staff for our small family get together. Freshly prepared food and chef willingly accommodated our request for separate sandwich options for the children. The tour of Bleak House added something special to the afternoon. The views of Broadstairs are superb. Everyone was impressed and some of the party are now considering staying. Highly recommend this afternoon... More

For my birthday on Saturday 21st March I had originally booked 2 nights in Ramsgate, however I became unexpectedly unwell and my husbands work commitments also changed at the last minute which meant that I had to cancel the booking I had made for the Ramsgate hotel. So it wasn't until Friday 20th late afternoon that I booked through Booking.com... More

We stayed for one night and were treated so personally, it was a real pleasure. The staff were so friendly and attentive and the afternoon tea lovely with fresh scones. Our room was fantastic and the views were to die for. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Bleak House for my cousins wedding on Saturday 21st February, we booked all 5 rooms and couldn't have been happier. All rooms were beautiful and so different. The staff went above and beyond to help us with everything, we sat having a drink downstairs when we got in at midnight In Front of a beautiful open fire,... More

Stayed here on a Saturday evening. We were attending a family wedding locally and therefore we booked all the rooms in the hotel except one. All the rooms are of a very high standard but for me, our room was the icing on the cake! Now, I must admit, I really don't want to recommend this fantastic place as don't... More

Stayed for a night at the charmingly named 'Little Dorrit' room. Comfy bed, good shower, and some Sherry to share... Lovely! Great afternoon tea and scones by the fire, good dinner out - excellent stay all in all.

We had the most fantastic time at Bleak House, the staff were wonderful and went out of their way to provide good service and show us Dickens' study and the Smugglers' museum in the basement. Lovely warm fires and tasteful, reasonably priced afternoon tea. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Bleak House in December for my birthday and even in the depths of winter, the crackling fires and beautiful Christmas decorations made it very cosy. All of the staff are absolutely lovely and they were really helpful with every aspect of our stay. The hotel is full of history and as I did part of my Masters... More
