I stayed here a little while ago for a wedding in the grounds. The rooms were clean and nicely themed to Charles Dickens. We had a great view across the beach. The food was great but above all, the staff were wonderful. They simply couldn’t have gone out of their way more to make us feel at home; they were... More

Went with friends. Sat outside in lovely gardens... Service was a little disorganised and very very slow. Milkshakes. When they eventually arrived were delicious. But be prepared for a wait.. Ladies loos not very clearly signposted

Had a lovely overnight stay in Bleak House. Staff were all very polite and helpful. Bedroom was well equipped, comfy bed, lovely shower! Breakfast was really good, lots of choice. Again, staff were excellent and couldn't do enough. In a good central location. I thought £155 for one night was a little pricey, that's my only negative point. I would... More

Just returned from our 2nd stay at Bleak House in Broadstairs. We always visit during Folk Week and like to make a full weekend of it and also add a bit of English luxury by staying at Bleak House. The staff are very friendly and can't seem to do enough for you, it really is a lovely place to stay,... More

We stayed here recently for three days in the Fagin Suite. On arrival we were welcomed by Ben, a very friendly and efficient young man, and offered tea on the terrace overlooking Viking Bay. We were then taken up to the Fagin Suite, which was light, airy and comfortable......after a good nights sleep we enjoyed an excellent full English breakfast.... More

We have stayed in the Copperfield Suite twice now (once for our first wedding anniversary and then for my 30th birthday). In terms of decor, it is the best room I have ever stayed in! The bed is huge, the bath is massive, the room is decorated really well and there are lots of little details that really add to... More

Had a great nights sleep stayed in the 3 bed apartment . Quirky building comfy beds fascinating decor. We loved the staff particularly our nightcap waiter great with the kids. The smugglers cove was a great little historic museum and the Dickens study didn't disappoint ! Breakfast was top notch and they provide full size towels most places don't so... More

Just returned from a 2 night stay with friends for a birthday celebration. We were greeted by Jake and Geoffrey who were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Nicholas Nickleby appartment which met our needs perfectly. Very clean and comfortable, with lovely views over Broadstairs seafront. The breakfast was second to none and plenty of it too. Served in... More
