Our first time in Kayakoy ..... and boy did we choose a great place to stay in. It's setting is so idyllic .... a short walk from the tavernas and bars of the village (with one, the Yelcin just 50 metres away) set in lovely gardens, with fantastic views of the ghost town from the pool ..... nothing but the... Returned after 3 years still a wonderful as our first visit. Such a wonderful relaxing place and owners could not be more helpful. Well equipped it's like home from home and lots of local wildlife to keep you company. Some excellent restaurants in Village and no real need to leave village if you do not want to.

I stumbled across this villa while looking for a May getaway, somewhere just to chill out and forget about life's stresses. OMG.......this villa achieved this and more. A huge comfortable villa with all amenities to hand. The owner lives opposite and cannot do enough for you, arrange trips, supply freshly laid free range delicious eggs, eat all you like fruit... This is a beautiful villa in the most gorgeous and convenient setting. It is secluded but within walking distance of over 12 restaurants in the village itself. Selma and Husseyin are great hosts who let us pick their unbelievably juicy fresh figs and grapes from their vines. They also left us fresh eggs and pomegranates. Kayakoy is a fabulous introduction... More

The best possible introduction to Turkey. Villa first class with very friendly hosts in the form of Hussein and Selma, not to mention Selma,s mother Azime. Holiday suitable for those wanting peace and quiet with all the action that you may require a short Dolmus ride away. Must mention the Poseidon and The Levissi as excellent restaurants, in Kayakoy, but... More

First time in Turkey and WHAT an introduction! Villa Dimitri is beautifully presented and set in the perfect location. The house itself has a fabulous, open-plan downstairs, giving the perfect setting for larger groups to spend an evening without losing contact with one another... Not that you'd want to spend much time indoors, with such a fabulous ooutdoor space to... More

A lovely villa & pool with the owner living next door who is very freindly & helpful. In a quiet village with scenic walks and good beach at Gemile 10 min drive through beautiful scenery with restaurant for lunch. Village restaurants good with a more lively nightlife just 10 min drive/taxi at Hisaronu. Olu Deniz disappointing with pebble beach though... More

The Villa Dimitri has no reviews as yet on any web site so I thought I would write this for anyone considering this villa. If you love peaceful, rural retreats you will adore this villa. We had visited kaya Koy for the day in 2007 and were so enchanted we decided to stay for one week in October 2008. The... More
