I arrived here late afternoon after some mishaps on the way, not really knowing what to expect with the hotel or the town, and what a surprise! A beachside setting with sunset over the water. I could almost have believed I was in Western Australia with uninterrupted ocean all the way to Africa, even though Harderwijk is almost exactly the... More

The carpet was a colourful highlight to a spacious and comfortable room. Air conditioning and the facilities available put this hotel well above its 3 star Inn description and its simple approach would suit most travellers. Breakfast downstairs in the huge cafe was a relaxed affair of filling and quality food, all excellent value.

The hotel is right on the sea front so there is a good view from the ground floor cafe. Rooms are small but comfortable enough. We were disappointed with the 'restaurant' which was just a big souless cafe, so we ate dinner out in a nice local restaurant. Breakfast was OK, nice to have fresh orange juice.

A nice hotel to stay in, located with a great view over the polder and one of the local lakes. Service is friendly and efficient, and caring. The restaurant offers great food for very reasonable prices. Especially the sea-food is very tasty. Definitely a good hotel to stay with family or as business travellers. Highly recommended

We had smoked paling - eel. It was delicious, delicate but tasty. The service was excellent and the view over the water magnificent. And, rarely for much of Netherlands, it takes Visa. I'm sure it would be a very pleasant place to stay.

Right by the lakeside, this small hotel offers comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms, some with views over the water. It's close to the heart of the small town of Harderwijk, so the many bars, cafes and shops of the town are very accessible. We always found a space in the (free) car park. Breakfast is good for the price (but... More
