Our check in experience was very good, we were greeted by a very friendly girl who carried our bags across the road to our room. The room was a decent size for a guest house but I felt the modern minimalist décor made the room feel a bit cold and uninviting. I am sure the room was very thoughtfully planned... More

Stayed here on work trip to Dungarvan as hotel normally used by company was full. A colleague had recommended The Townhouse. Room was beautifully decorated. Lovely bathroom. And like other reviews I was a bit worried when I saw earplugs on the bed side tables! Didn't need to be though as it was lovely and quiet. In fact I was... More

The tannery townhouse is at a great location in centre of the town. There is a continental breakfast in each room. The room was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately our fridge was broke and milk was sour. The fruit was old and juiceless which was disappointing but in general a lovely spot

Had the most wonderful meal at the Tannery tonight. It is always one of my favourites while in the area on holidays. With 2 family members tonight we went for the Easy Evening Menu which gave us a choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts and all for only €30 each. I worried that for this price that... More

We had a sneaky night away last Saturday night. I really wanted somewhere nice to stay and did not enjoy the hotel the last time. We opted for Tannery Townhouse. The room is not huge but just right. Like another reviewer I was worried when I saw the complimentart ear plugs ! There was no need to worry. The street was... More

Last night in Ireland; B&B at the Tannery Townhouse and Dinner at The Tannery Restaurant. Just do it!!! Deluxe B&B and fabulous food at the restaurant. Everything just perfect. A bit out of the way, but worth any detour. Thanks.

Just back from a wonderful weekend at the Tannery. Stayed for two nights in a room above the cookery school. The room is small but cosy and comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom is quite big with a great shower. The bed was very comfortable and although I was a bit nervous when I saw the complimentary ear plugs beside... More

Went to a good friends hen here. We stayed in the town house which was really beautiful. Very clean and chic. Paul and his lovely staff were the perfect hosts in the cookery school and the dinning room was a delight. All the food was outstanding! Can't wait to go back :)

Stayed for one night. The style of the accommodation is fab. Shutters on the windows etc. Only issue for us was the room was freezing when we were brought to it and didn't really heat up fully. The shower was also a little on the unpredictable side. On the plus side, having the breakfast that was laid on in the... More

The Tannery have really upped their game since we last visited ten years ago (which is quite a considerable feat considering how good it was then). We had a super new year's eve meal served by extremely friendly and welcoming staff which was superb value to boot. The townhouse was new to us and was a really pleasant surprise too.... More
