Have been to the Park Hotel, Dungarvan, a few times lately, for Bar Food, and I must say it has been Excellent. They do a particular chicken dish in the bar and the sauce is something to die for. Great service, and the fact that it is always busy speaks for itself. More

Just back from a two night stay in the Park Hotel, Dungarvan. There was a group of five adults and three children. The Park Hotel is a perfect hotel to cater for all age groups. The hotel has a nice big foyer area where one can lounge about and watch people coming and going about their business. Staff in all... More

We stayed 3 nights and had a great time. The front desk staff couldn't be more helpful. Bar and restaurant staff really make you feel welcome . For kids, great kids club, near 2 playgrounds and the hotel pool is fab. Near dungarvan town and on main link to cork or waterford . More

We had a lovely time at the Park. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a lovely greeting from a lady who was on each of the days Friday, Saturday and Sunday but didn't get her name. The food we ate in the bar was lovely. The breakfasts in the restaurant were beautiful and freshly cooked to order each... More

Park Hotel is a decent hotel. Good value. Good food in the bar but lacked atmosphere (only people there on a Friday night). Leisure Centre is basic but alright, nothing too fancy. Rooms are quite nice though. Handy walk into Dungarvan too which is a nice little town. More

We stayed at the hotel over a long weekend visiting relatives and celebrating a birthday. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The meals were very good and plentiful. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool has seen better days but it did not stop us from having fun. The location is very nice... More

Myself and my family stayed at the Park hotel for a weekend. We ate in the restaurant on Friday night and as well as being good value, the fare was top class. We both had fillet steak, which was as nice as I've tasted anywhere. The bedroom was clean and spacious, the leisure centre was well up to standard and... More

The room was good with views over the river and a comfortable bed. At 130 Euros overnight tariff including breakfast for two people, it was only reasonable value. However, all goodwill towards the establishment dissolved in horror at the the bathroom sink. The morning light showed the accumulation of gunk that lingered under the stopper-plug in the washbasin. Truly gag-worthy.... More
