On arrival we were met with a real Irish welcome from Mealla and after being shown around the house we were taken into the conservatory to admire that wonderful view, the rooms were clean, warm and spacious the food was excellent and Mealla's knowledge of the area was excellent and useful. We had three wonderful nights at Seaview and will... More

This guesthouse should only be a last resort of you cannot find somewhere else to stay in dungarvan. The rooms are dark and even though mine had the sea view the window was far too small to appreciate it unless I was standing directly in front of it. The shower was the worst I've ever experienced. It was cold and... More

Another evening booking and late arrival (7pm), but Maella welcomed me well, and had room heated in preparation even though I seemed to be the only guest (that's not always the case in B&B's in low season!). At 35 euro B&B for the night it was very good value, and that to me is the appropriate price for B&B, particularly... More

We arrived late in the evening, after a Wales to Rosslare Ferry crossing. Our hostess, Maella was waiting for us! We were immediately thrilled at the size of our En Suite room, but overwhelmed with the view that confronted us in the morning. After a fabulous, all-encompassing breakfast, Maella gave us the benefit of her knowledge of Southern Island and... More

Great B and B with nice rooms and a conservatory to sit in. The view is incredible - mountains, countryside and ocean. Big breakfast in nice eating area overlooking the views.. Nice people running it too. There is a main road in front but it wasnt too noisy, we just closed window when it was busy. Close to Lismore, mountains... More

Wow! Set high on a hill overlooking Dungarvan, the guesthouse was recommended to us by some lovely people at Dungarvan Castle. Our thanks to them as well! Our hostess Mealla was very welcoming, our room very large and well set out, with a great ensuite - ours was the disabled-friendly room, which was good to see. Breakfast was lovely -... More

Have stayed here a good few times over the past number of years and both the hostess and the place are great.:) The rooms are neat and tidy, and linen is always spotless. Breakfast is always seasonal with great choices in cereals, fruit and hot food if you want it. I have always found everyone very accomodating to one's needs... More

My hubbie and I have just spent one night in this lovely house. Our welcome was warm and sincere and our room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast whilst enjoying the view was beautiful and the fruit salad was devine. We would recommend and stay at Seaview again.

We stayed at the Seaview the first week in June. Immediately impressed. A warm greeting, lovely room, fantastic view and a perfect breakfast. The bed was heavenly & gave us a much needed good nights sleep. In the upstairs sitting room, we sat for a couple hours, just recharging & taking in the view. If we were in the area... More

We arrived in the evening in lashing rain and wind. What a welcome relief to come into a warm and welcoming home. The views from the front of the house, which is on an elevated site, is beautiful..overlooking the inlet of the sea. The hostess was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and spacious and nicely decorated. The... More
