We spent our first night in Irland in this place. Very welcome, classic room. We loved the common parts with a wonderful view on the Dungarvan bay. Way out of the city, close to a main road. Do not hesitate to make a stop there, prefer a calmer place to stay several days.

It was great to bring more friends back to Seaview Guesthouse. We are always treated great and even when we were going to walk up to Restaurant, we were giving a flashlight and reflective vest to be sure we were safe on walk on N-25. The views down to Dungarvan Bay are beautiful and seat in lounge for view or... More

The rooms are clean, the breakfast is excellent and the views are superb. They have a lovely enclosed sun room that allows you to enjoy the views regardless of the weather. Martin directed us to a lovely old pub and restaurant complete with thatched roof and Irish history just down the road called Seanachai, the food was excellent. We enjoyed... More

Mealla is a wonderful host and this is a lovely guesthouse for a stay in Dungarvan. The rooms are really nice & clean. We had the place to ourselves as we were a hen night group of 17 ladies. The gueshouse itself is about a 10 min drive from the town, 2 mins drive in the Cork direction is the... More

The owner was extremely helpful and helped us out above and beyond our needs. The rooms were immaculate, the service supurb, food lovely and fresh. Patron even helped organise a pre hen gathering for us, we booked out the guest house so she was able to allow us that. She even went as far as to collect us from the... More

On arrival we were met with a real Irish welcome from Mealla and after being shown around the house we were taken into the conservatory to admire that wonderful view, the rooms were clean, warm and spacious the food was excellent and Mealla's knowledge of the area was excellent and useful. We had three wonderful nights at Seaview and will... More

This guesthouse should only be a last resort of you cannot find somewhere else to stay in dungarvan. The rooms are dark and even though mine had the sea view the window was far too small to appreciate it unless I was standing directly in front of it. The shower was the worst I've ever experienced. It was cold and... More

Another evening booking and late arrival (7pm), but Maella welcomed me well, and had room heated in preparation even though I seemed to be the only guest (that's not always the case in B&B's in low season!). At 35 euro B&B for the night it was very good value, and that to me is the appropriate price for B&B, particularly... More

We arrived late in the evening, after a Wales to Rosslare Ferry crossing. Our hostess, Maella was waiting for us! We were immediately thrilled at the size of our En Suite room, but overwhelmed with the view that confronted us in the morning. After a fabulous, all-encompassing breakfast, Maella gave us the benefit of her knowledge of Southern Island and... More

Great B and B with nice rooms and a conservatory to sit in. The view is incredible - mountains, countryside and ocean. Big breakfast in nice eating area overlooking the views.. Nice people running it too. There is a main road in front but it wasnt too noisy, we just closed window when it was busy. Close to Lismore, mountains... More
