Stayed here for three nights on a coach holiday. Staff very friendly and helpful but as stated in previous revues, rooms need updating. Very dated furniture in our room with very poor double glazing and under achieving radiator. But the shower was excellent and we had a bath too, some guests only had a shower. Food was always good but... More

We stayed here as part of a coach party & really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is well situated in the heart of Dungarvan with easy access to the shops, harbour & local facilities. Dungarvan is a small picturesque place with alot of pubs & the people were very friendly. The staff in the hotel were helpful & pleasant. The... More

The room we were given on the third floor was old and in need of updating, the furniture was old but the room was tidy. The shower head was encrusted with lime due to the water being hard and we cleaned it ourselves before using the shower and even then the water spray wasn't very good. The choice of drinks... More

Booked this hotel for the new year as it had a country music package. I would of gladly left on arriving but the weather was very bad and no other place around available to stay. The place was grubby old and rips all over the carpets, the scuff marks on the doors were a discrace . Our bedroom was 2... More

We were given a front facing room on the 3rd floor overlooking the town and the harbour. The room is small with a shower but no bath. It's clean, comfortable and quiet so we're very happy. We have enjoyed sitting by the fire downstairs with a drink and the staff have all been lovely. The full irish breakfast was excellent.... More

I had stayed for a wedding 2 years ago and was given an old but ok room. This year I booked a room in October to include the New Year stay and entertainment. On arrival we were given room 167, this room is above the first floor an accessed by a very very shabby corridor. We had business in the... More

I attended a Christening here last weekend and as a hotelier myself and after studying the industry for 4 years I must say this place shocked me. the small function room needs a lot of work. It's very dated. When we arrived in after the mass the room was freezing and didn't seem to be getting warm as the evening... More

Welcoming cosy hotel with lovely fire burning in the reception area. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were allocated room 314 which is totally dated with old dark furniture and drapes which have seen better days. Bathroom was just passable, needs to be totally re-done. The bed was actually on a slope which we did not complain about and got... More
