Stopped at the hotel for lunch. Good food, but the service was terrible, the server was rude and obnoxious. Something tells me he was part of the furniture. He wanted to charge full price for a kids portion, when challenged, he dropped the price from €11 to €9 for a 2 year olds portion. Never again will I consider stopping... More

Lovely hotel with excellent staff. This was our first night on the road in Ireland and we were happy with our choice. We were on the third floor and had a beautiful view of the harbour. We didn't have the B&B option as it was a little expensive but the food sounded yum!

Our first stay at Lawlor's Hotel. We were part of a coach trip and did not hold great expectations, but was pleased with everything at the hotel. From the well organised and efficient way the coach-load was booked in without any delay. The staff who had helped me pre-organise a birthday cake for my husband, our room was clean and... More

And the hotel bar had the absolute worst karaoke night I have ever seen. It's a clean place to rest your head but if you're... More

I stayed in Lawlors with my partner this weekend and we were simply appalled from the minute we stepped foot in the hotel room. The wallpaper was chipping and dirty, the carpets were coming up in the halls, the shower still had shampoo on the ground from the last people to have stayed there, the rooms were freezing, the double... Had a lovely stay at this hotel 24th and 25th January with a group of friends. We felt very welcome from the moment we checked in. There seemed to be quite a few places to eat around the town but we ended up eating in the hotel on both nights of our stay, and we were definitely not disappointed. The... More
