Very lovely place centered close to St. Patrick's church, the genology center and the restraunts. The rooms were spacous with TV which was not needed. The meal was made to order and plentiful. They helped us find things to do locally. Very friendly and refused our tip upon leaving. Not an Irish thing to do!!! Only downside was the stairs... more

We had the best time here during our stay. The room was giant and the beds were comfortable. The Breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Bernadette and her family were very nice and very accomodating. Definitely family freindly! Our girls (ages 9 and 7) also enjoyed everything. It was perfectly located in the center of town, but far enough off the street... more

We were on an unplanned road trip up through Leitrim, Fermanagh and Donegal and our one-night stay at Hammill's B+B in Ballinamore was by far the most enjoyable and most comfortable. The owners were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was the best we had on our five-day trip. They recommended places to eat and drink in the town... more

This is a little gem. In a nutshell its very clean, tidy, friendly, central, relaxed. Its not that easy to find a hotel/B&B in the area that is of good quality and good value and thankfully this kicks all the boxes. It's a family run business and you can tell that immediately. Nothing is too much trouble for Damien &... more

We had booked at a local hotel and went to get a bite to eat at the new Italian restaurant across from the hotel. We asked the owner where she would stay if she were a traveler and she didn't hessitate to recommend Hamill's B&B. We could not have been happier. Damian Hamill was a perfect host and saw to... more

Looking for a long weekend in Ireland, somewhere we could walk to a pub (and not along dark country roads) at a reasonable rate and not be bothered by noise. Hamills was just what we were looking for. Located right in the centre of town, but back from the road so we weren't disturbed by noise. Lovely mature trees in... more

We spent three nights at Hamill's in May 2006 and were overall very pleased. Damien and Bernadette Hamill have a lovely home conveniently located. Hamill's is in the center of Ballinamore but set quite far off of the road. This gives you the ease of accessing everything in town without the noise. We had two rooms, one for my partner... more
