We popped down to Clare for a few nights in May and stayed in the Armada, beautiful location from a scenic point of view......but for a bit of nightlife you are as well to pop to Lahinch for a club and the like....the hotel had music each night we were there and the atmosphere was just great..... Rooms are top... more

Have stayed here for a family wedding and eaten here numerous times. Room was fine but a little pricey. Food is generally very good and the place can be very busy at weekends even in the winter for lunch and dinner. more

Stayed at this hotel in October 2009, cannot say enough about the staff, the food, the ambience. Could not believe the friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Location overlooking sea at Spanish Point could not be better. Rooms pretty standard, spotless. Food available in bar all day, great when you are out and about. Will be returning. more

On arrival we were upgraded to the luxury suite as the normal double rooms were booked out. Great. Moved to the normal room next day. Normal rooms are spacious and as with the hotel modern and clean.Staff were courteous and helpful. Food was very good. The hotel is on the rocky seafront. It is possible to walk across the rocks... more

We had our wedding at the Armada in February, what can I say it was truely amazing from start to finish, the view and setting is just amazing, but its the management and staff at this hotel that put the icing on the cake, they are all so helpful and friendly, we could not have asked for a better venue,... more

After booking the accomodations via American Express travel, the hotel would not honor the confirmed reservation. They said that they do not accept reservation via American Express travel. I had to pay upfront until I could resolve with American Express. Once I returned home, I worked with American Express to resolve and they worked with the hotel that said it... more

Before booking this hotel I called the hotel and specifically asked if there was a wedding on where I was told there wasn't, so was happy to book 2 nights. On check in, we were told that there would be a band on that evening and our room would be over it, so she moved us to a 'family room'... more
