The photos are a little incongruous insofar as the hotel is spotted near a major highway, but they are nevertheless perfectly accurate. It's a truly nice place to stay. A short drive (about 5Km) from Aosta's Roman Colleseum ruins, and a nice distance from several other wonderful places in Aosta Valley. It is very Swedish influenced, with an adjoining Swedish... Excellent receptionist who helped greatly with the language barrier. Nice, well equipped room with lots of space and good views from the velux roof windows. Restaurant was shut on the night of our visit, but a short drive into Aosta which revieled a lovely old town. Would definitely recommend if it is en route.

Made the reservation with booking.com we have a small dog and didn't realise until after we made booking dogs are not allowed in the hotel rooms. so we up graded for a small extra charge to a chalet and I'm so glad we did think £15.00 little bit expensive for the dog only negative we had . x We had... I have to agree about the noise from the trains however this is a great stopover and otherwise very quiet. The rooms are good value and spacious and the chalet we stayed in reminded me of Yosemite but a notch higher. The Swedish restaurant Björk will not disappoint.

Despite the excellent pictures and invitations, the location is really worth a warning. If you're in the main building you're sleeping on top a very busy road. If your lucky enough to get a chalet, you're sleeping on top of a railroad. Really, 4 meters from your bed a train is running by. If you have complaints, the rude receptionist... More

We were on one of those family road trips with no hotels booked and just beginning to argue and squabble because we were all stressed about where we going to stay after a very long drive - and we stumbled up on this. It is such a lovely place - and Andreas on the front desk is simply delightful. He... More

We stayed here after a very long journey from southern Italy. We were welcomed and shown our chalet which consisted of a comfortable queen bed and a sofa bed. The shower was very strong and clean. The interior of the chalet was modern yet in keeping with the character. We ate in the restaurant and the staff could not have... More

We struggled to find the hotel (it was probably our GPS) but were delighted when we finally got there. A cleverly renovated 'village' of detached timber chalets. Very spacious, modern interiors. Secure (gated) and quiet. Small details, such as a complimentary toiletries bag containing absolutely everything you might need (razor, toothbrush etc). Breakfast (included) was a very nice array of... More

We stayed in one of the little chalets and it was perfect for me, my husband and 5 year old son. I loved the updated modern style married with the old rustic cabin feel. Breakfast was outstanding, staff was super friendly and the maid service was impeccable! Close enough to the village square and a good starting point to head... More

We stayed here in December 2012, it was a really unique hotel in the Aosta Valley, it is a little bit out of Aosta but with a bus from right outside of the hotel this isn't a problem. It was nice to be a bit away from the slopes as there was other things to do in and around Aosta,... More
