We stayed here one night on our way to our ski holiday in valtournenche. We have booked the chalet and that was a pleasant surprise. It's spacious and it had comfy beds. We would definitely book this again for our next ski holiday. It's located in the valley, after the tunnel and pass. It could be a busy road but... More

This hotel is a unique, modern hotel just off the A5 motorway and on the side of the SS26 Aosta valley route. We have stayed here a number of times now and always get the same warm and friendly welcome and hospitality throughout our stay. We have stayed in the main hotel building and also in a chalet, both types... More

Really lovely chalet near Aosta, just 5 minutes by car. Really easy to get it just out of the highway. If you are searching for natural landscape, it's not the right place, you're near the highway and the railway. The chalet is warm, really lovely, cleand big enough for 2 people. Really quiet and nice stay. breakfast is good.

These excerpts are from my blog: http://thevisualdiario.wordpress.com/2014/09/08/girlscapes-val-daosta/ The Hotel Village looks too charming to be true. There you have your traditional Swiss chalets on the outside, but inside the design is dominantly Scandinavian – organic, practical and oh-so-chic. That night we had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant of our hotel. Björk is a Scandinavian restaurant which is very much... More

The photos are a little incongruous insofar as the hotel is spotted near a major highway, but they are nevertheless perfectly accurate. It's a truly nice place to stay. A short drive (about 5Km) from Aosta's Roman Colleseum ruins, and a nice distance from several other wonderful places in Aosta Valley. It is very Swedish influenced, with an adjoining Swedish... Excellent receptionist who helped greatly with the language barrier. Nice, well equipped room with lots of space and good views from the velux roof windows. Restaurant was shut on the night of our visit, but a short drive into Aosta which revieled a lovely old town. Would definitely recommend if it is en route.

Made the reservation with booking.com we have a small dog and didn't realise until after we made booking dogs are not allowed in the hotel rooms. so we up graded for a small extra charge to a chalet and I'm so glad we did think £15.00 little bit expensive for the dog only negative we had . x We had... I have to agree about the noise from the trains however this is a great stopover and otherwise very quiet. The rooms are good value and spacious and the chalet we stayed in reminded me of Yosemite but a notch higher. The Swedish restaurant Björk will not disappoint.

Despite the excellent pictures and invitations, the location is really worth a warning. If you're in the main building you're sleeping on top a very busy road. If your lucky enough to get a chalet, you're sleeping on top of a railroad. Really, 4 meters from your bed a train is running by. If you have complaints, the rude receptionist... More

We were on one of those family road trips with no hotels booked and just beginning to argue and squabble because we were all stressed about where we going to stay after a very long drive - and we stumbled up on this. It is such a lovely place - and Andreas on the front desk is simply delightful. He... More
