My husband and I had a wonderful week at Villa Murray Silvia and Agathe made us so welcome. We stayed in the Green Room which was very spacious and comfortable with lovely views over the park and Tuscan countryside. Breakfast was a feast of fresh fruits, cereals, ham, cheeses, bread teas, coffee and delicious fresh home made cakes. Silvia had... More

We stayed for our second time at the Villa Murray the last weekend of March. It again was a wonderful experience. Silvia's hospitality is top notch and the location makes for a peaceful stay in a beautiful part of Italy. Close to the Florence American Cemetery as well as the SR 222, it's truly a little slice of heaven. I... More

We arrived to Villa Murray after a long day in which the airline managed to lose our baggage which was a bad start for the trip. Silvia the manager of the place helped us forget about all the problems with her great hospitality. The place is simply beautiful with a nice forest around the Villa with deers running around. The... I stayed here in 2011 and am overdue on writing the review. The place was amazing with very spacious rooms. Breakfast was great and owner was very friendly and had good suggestions, especially for olive oil. There were a few restaurants nearby that were good.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Villa Murray this past summer. A long and winding stone path among bamboo trees brings guests to a lovely old home, that's been very well cared for. As other reviewers have written, our room was spacious and grand, the bathroom clean and new, and the breakfasts excellent. A short drive or... More

Well what can I say...... exceptional in every single way!!! The villa is amazingly beautiful, we stayed in the 'green room' the smallest of the rooms and it was still huge; the size of a suite room at other hotels. The grounds and location were peaceful and beautiful; with deer in the garden and flowers everywhere. And then there is... More

We had a great few days at this property which has a fantastic location for exploring the Chianti Region and Florence. You can leave your car for free at the bus stop fives minutes from the Villa and get a bus to Florence which only takes 20 minutes for less than 4 euros, 2 adults return. The faster roads are... My son booked a short stay for his grandmother who was born in the area. He found this Villa on the Internet and it turned out to a fantastic find. The villa is located by a twisting road up high in the trees. The rooms are all fabulously large with very high, decorated ceilings and very thick walls which made... More

We had amazing 6 days at Silvia's gracious home in Impruneta June 2013. The Location: Perfect. very near Florence, San Gimignano, Siena. Lovely, secluded, rolling hills, amazing sunsets. If you have a car, you can park in Impruneta town lot for free, go to Florence for most of the day by bus, come back, pick up your car, and have... More
