It was my first time coming to Florence with my boyfriend and his family. It's a great place to relax, enjoy morning having breakfast outside and dinner in the restaurant in the camping ground. They have amazing food, it's cheap also and the service is very friendly. So I highly recommended :))). Going to the city center it's very easy... More

I think that this place would be perfect for those people who like camping without services. The stalls are not signed and you can choose a place wherever you want. Also a large part of the stalls are quite inclinated and it is very difficult to put a roulotte or a caravan. The buildings are old, bad keept and cleaningless.... More

This is a convenient site to get a bus into Florence but it is right next to a busy motorway and expensive at 35 euro per night for a small camper van in mid-October. To me, the whole set-up was 'mean'. The toilets had no loo paper and the showers were so small that it was really difficult to find... More

The good thing about this site was the pitch - very large. And there was a reasonably sized field to walk the dog (although much of it was submerged under old mattresses etc). But the good ends there. The toilet block was filthy, thick cobwebs and dirt everywhere and the showers failed to drain, shower water poured out into the (dirty)... More

We stayed three nights at this campsite near Florence in the first week of September. Good things: nice places to pitch your tent, with a lot of shadow under fruit (and other) trees; a swimming pool (notice: obligation is to wear a swimming cap; when do Italians stop with this ridiculous, irrational habit???); acceptable restaurant with tasty, relatively cheap pizzas;... Have to say that this venue went out of its way to make our stay as difficult as possible. Having intended to stay for three nights we subsequently cut our stay short to find alternative accommodation. On the surface the sight is adequate, though expensive - we paid 37 Euros for the privilege of pitching a tent overnight. Having been... More

I stayed here with Contiki and it definitely could have been better. The cabins themselves were decent sized but the bathroom was awfully dirty... I avoided showering for the two nights we stayed here because I felt cleaner that way. There were mosquitoes and bees EVERYWHERE! Obviously the campsite can't control that but still, our room was infested with them.... More

Stayed here as part of a Contiki tour. The cabin that we got was very clean! I shared one with my girlfriend and one other person from our tour and we had loads of space between us. Had two separate bed rooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 twin beds. Had a nice little common area that... More

We have camped in tents in many countries around the world. Our experience here is one of the worst: * the receptionists were consistently rude, disagreeable and unhelful *It was too expensive for what was offered. After the initial quote for two nights camping (two people, two nights, one small tent), the figure was doubled when it came to time... More

I would say if you a budget traveller this isnt a bad place to stay. The cabins were ok, the bathroom was clean - Big yay for that, Was in a triple share, 2 seperate bedrooms in cabin, a little lounge. A decent place :-) The Contiki staff onsite were amazing hats off to Contiki, I have to say we... More
