We stayed here after being 8 days in Sicily. The beauty and magic of the resort is first noticed about a quarter mile away as you approach by car. The castle of the resort is sitting atop one of the tallest hills on the 4200 acres that make this magnificent property. When you reach the circle drive at the front... More

As the pictures make clear, this hotel is in a beautiful location, and the views and the ambiance are quintessential Tuscany. We had very much looked forward to a stay of a few days here before we moved to a villa on the grounds, but, unfortunately, our stay coincided with a construction project for a corporate event that followed our... We stayed in an old restored farm house in Castello. The renovations and restoration brought this up to modern Tuscan standards. The SPA was simply fantastic located in the old stone basement. The staff at hotel were very courteous and attentive. The food in the main restaurant was one of our best meals in Italy. For the view - stunning!... More

We spent one night in the hotel and then a week in a Villa on the property. This is a pastoral and relaxing setting. The scenery is beautiful, for example, we enjoyed a gorgeous double rainbow after a summer rainstorm. The rural views are 360 degrees. A car is mandatory as you will drive 20-60 minutes to most destinations. The... More

After several whirlwind days in larger Italian cities, we enjoyed a week of R&R in a resort so beautiful it was spiritual. The resort is historical, yet stylishly updated. The bar was fun, the restaurant delicious and the staff was incredible helping to suggest and arrange fun and memorial moments. The pool area is luscious with killer vistas. We stayed... More

As previous reviews stated, the Tuscan hillside setting is lovely & the rooms are decorated nicely. However, the Italian experience fades here! Except for a young man from Holland, the reception staff is besotted with itself especially a young Italian woman (whose name I won't mention because I'm not here to jeopardize someone's job) whom we found to be rude... We thank you for your response and we certainly will address straight away all of your thoughts and questions about Castello di Casole. For sure more than 95% of our staff is Italian and as English is the second language for many countries that visit us from around the world, most of our staff does speak English. We will make... This property is breathtakingly beautiful. It is as picturesque as I imagined Tuscany to be. We wanted an experience in a Tuscan castle/villa without a rustic feel. And we wanted the luxury of a Five star hotel. The rooms are large and spacious. The infinity pool was gorgeous. Breakfast which is included in the rate is simply amazing. However, if... More

Amazing hotel! Everything was nice, the rooms, bathroom, pool area, bar, views.... Breakfast was very nice, we had one dinner at the pizzeria which was very good (even though very expensive)... The pool is the highlight - amazing views, service, pool is heated and very nice... The only negative of the hotel is the very high prices...

When we arrived at the Castello di Casole for our 5 day stay we were graciously welcomed by Eric who greeted us with a glass of Prosecco and showed us the property. We stayed in the Oliveto Suite which was wonderful, beautifully appointed with lots of space, a beautiful bathroom, superior bed and bedding, lots of towels. It was lovely.... More

This is a fabulous hotel , the location in the Tuscany country side on a 4200 acre property is outstanding , but this is probably over shadowed by the service, rooms and facilities It is not cheap and caters for international travellers , with quite a few Americans so the service matches expectations The food and beverage manager Frederico ,...
