I am so glad I got the chance to stay at this hotel. It was the quintessential Tuscany/Vineyard experience we were looking for. The grounds and building of Castello Banfi are outrageous, the views are outrageous, the rooms are the best i've ever seen, the breakfast which is included could not have been better. I absolutely loved this hotel and... More

The countryside is beautiful, but it's no match for Banfi. Boasting the best wine tasting room in all of Montalcino and also the most beautiful views, Banfi is definitely worth every penny. Our room was #19, which opened directly onto the rose garden and had a bathroom bigger than our bedroom. Siena is one hour away, and there are so... More

Castello Banfi is less of a hotel and more of a private getaway place. Intimate as can be this property allows peace and relaxation. Historically restored castle from the middle ages with top notch amenities. Pool on property with an absolutely exhilarating view over the Tuscan hillsides. That said - If you are looking for night life/people watching/hot spot this... More

We stayed there for 3 nights at a Double Room Riserva which had the size of a junior suite, with a sitting room, extremly large bathroom. The room has a nice tuscan decor. The service of everybody we met was fantastic, starting from reception, to maids, to breakfast service. We booked a package which included breakfast - super location, sitting... More

This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. The grounds are beautiful and you feel like you are in a dream. The rooms are huge and unique. The food was wonderful. I really cannot say enough about this place. It was romantic, dreamy and everything you think Tuscany is going to be.

One of the most charming and unique properties that we have ever seen. Absolutely phenomenal experience all around. Food excellent, staff unbelievable, landscape is picture perfect. Worth every penny that we spent to stay here. A place you will never forget. So much attention to detail and no need to ever leave the property while there.

Castello Banfi is absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect for seeing so much of Tuscany without being in the car for hours. The Castello is amazing - the rooms are wonderful, the staff is incredible... it is really perfect. It is a large place with lots of areas to sit outside and the views are gorgeous. The bathrooms are huge... More

Early March is not a great time for Tuscany: it was cold (40's and 50's F) and rainy. But, if we needed to "hole up" this was definitely the place to do it. I would come back again in better season, but the solitude of being pretty much the only guests may be missed. We could see the "castello" from... More

With its 14 rooms IL Borgo is first class all the way. Though a bit hard to find it is worth a special trip.It is beautiful, romantic and peaceful. Every detail has been thought through here. The rooms are large and comfortable with mood lighting. The bath is huge and has all the amenities. The food is outstanding at both... More
