We booked Piombaia at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised by our find. Although we only stayed for 1 night we were appreciative of the friendly service and central location. Big rooms and the pool make this a great option for those with kids. This place is certainly worth considering if you are looking for good value.

We stayed for a weekend with family at the agriturismo Piombaia. The setting was beautiful on the slopes near Montalcino, with only a 5-10 minutes drive into the town itself.
