Palazzina Cesira was lovely, and I highly recommend it. The living room and dining room are beautifully appointed and available for guest use. Our room, Camera Verde, was fairly spacious, nicely decorated, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was very modern and quite large. There was a hair dryer provided and soap/body wash in the shower. Towels were large. The room... More

In planning our visit to Montalcino, Palazzina Cesira was recommended in our guidebook. After contacting Robert regarding accomodations for our group of four, I knew I had made the right choice. Robert, was very prompt in communicating and helpful with my concerns. Robert and his wife Lucilla worked hard to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was not... More

I highly recommend this property! My husband and I, along with my son and his wife, spent some time here and were charmed by the hosts, Lucilla and Robert. They were spot on with all their recommendations and made our stay perfect! If you are thinking of touring Tuscany, make this property, and this village, your home base. We really... More

I like to think reviews give a chance to address, the "I wish I had known that before.." need. In that spirit I offer the following. As reported by others this is a wonderfully appointed B&B and indeed gracious, helpful hosts. However there is a but, and it is a big but. Frankly we were very uncomfortable and if your... More

Dear GAFoodie from Atlanta, We are a bit concerned regarding your account of conversations that never took place and words that were never spoken and quite honestly we do not know you and doubt that you were ever a guest at Palazzina Cesira. However, we are more concerned that TripAdvisor would allow this type of comment to be published, recognising... More

We stayed 2 nights in Palazzina Cesira on our 35th anniversary trip to Italy. Montalcino is a lovely little village with breathtaking views of Tuscany. Robert and Lucilla are gracious hosts and were very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and day trips around the countryside. While we were out, Lucilla did some research to find possible relatives of my husband's... More

This B&B is a perfect place to stay while you enjoy the beauties and offerings of Montalcino. The owners/hosts could not be more helpful and are extremely knowledgeable about the town, region and things to do. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Breakfast was tailored to your taste and was set in a beautiful dining area. If you... More

Had a 3 day stay in this marvelous B and B in the center or town. The owners could not have been nicer. The owner is American and married to a beautiful Italian lady. The accommodations could not have been nicer. Wonderful breakfasts, eggs cooked to order, what a nice touch. They are so knowledgeable about the area and some... More

Two traveling companions and I visited this gem of a "camera" in the center of Montalcino in late March, 2014. Owners Robert and Lucilla Berti's warm and gracious hospitality made us feel immediately at home. Our rooms were elegant and comfortable, daily breakfast in the lovely dining room a delight for the eyes and the palate, and the overall ambiance... More

Location in the middle of Montalcino which was perfect. Hostesses Lucilla and Robert made us feel at home and had great proposals for eating and where to go. Great breakfast ! Clean and comfortable rooms.
