Breathtaking views, excellent breakfasts, Charming caring hostess/host. Marcella and her nephew Mattia make the difference of a good vacation and an excellent one. Can't say enough about how nice it was to stay here. Perfect location to Montalicino and for sightseeing in Tuscany.

We came to stay in Montalcino in late September and found La Casella through the tourist office. We were more than pleased with our stay. The location is just below Montalcino, and it is possible to walk up the hill should you choose. We stayed in one of the more modest apartments and found it to be spacious and comfortable.... More

I have been in Montalcino and I stayed in this lovely Agriturismo. Once you drive through the road you get blessed from the view over the vineyards and the country side. Marcella, the owner, is absolutely friendly and she let you feel comfortable and relaxed from the first second you are there. The rooms and the apartments are simple but... More

The best location for being in Montalcino and not being in Montalcino. The serenity of the countryside is in front of you which allows you to look down the valley and with a slight turn you are looking up into the beautiful town of Montalcino. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast baskets were outstanding. I wish they had a... More

We spent a lot of time searching for an agriturismo that would give us the feel of being in the Tuscan countryside, but was also close enough to town to allow us to walk to restaurants and shops. This place has both features. Lovely apartment, with traditional architecture and furnishings. We had one bedroom, dining/living room, bathroom, kitchen, and terrace... More

On our last trip to Tuscany we searched for a place that will have the special atmosphere of the area. This place gave us what we asked. The house is divided into families units. It's located 2 KM outside the city, at the foot of a mountain surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. We got a single bedroom, living room... More

Homey, friendly, pretty little place! The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The surrounding of the cottage is magnificent. Everything in the house is in order; coffee machine, oven, all utensils are well prepared. The breakfast basket is pretty nice. Bread, yogurt, jam, honey, coffee, and milk are plentiful. It is very nice to have a cup of cappuccino in... More
