A wonderful place to stay in Montalcino. Well situated, great hiking, biking and winery touring. The staff is good humoured and very accommodating. Twice a week they offer dinner, but we did not partake. Close to many amazing restaurants.

We stayed at Le Ragnaie for three nights, a great base location in Tuscany. A beautiful place with amazing wine. They serve dinner a couple nights a week so you have to make sure to eat there one of the nights. Spacious apartment like rooms, with a kitchenette attached in case you want to cook your own meal. There is... More

This place is a dream! Our favorite so far in Italy. Great staff, amazing view of Tuscany and a dream of place. We loved to stay there, sadly we left after one day to keep our journey in Italy... Great breakfast, great bedroom with the the dream bathroom, very good taste. <3 Thanks

First time in my life I actually drove to a place and asked for a room, thanks Google! Affordable price and much nicer and more modern than the dumpy city-center "hotels" in Montilchino. Manger was nice, farm is beautiful, breakfast was decent. Town was five minute drive to the public parking lot. You're sacrificing nothing by staying outside of town,... More

This is our second visit to thinkable. The first 5 years ago We were pleasantly surprised how nothing had changed The place has been kept exceptionally clean immaculate in fact Unsure on the total of apartments but all are equipped with a kitchenette. Some larger than others We ask form the same one with a private balcony and stairs to... More

My husband and I spent a two week vacation travelling through Sicily, Venice, Tuscany, Umbria and Rome. We had every night booked except for one night. We decided to stay in Montalcino with the hopes of exploring some of those big wines the area is known for. We found this one on line the night before we arrived and booked... More

My wife and I were on a Wine trip in Tuscany together with friends and spent one night at the Le Ragnaie. The property is lovely. Situated on the top of a hill surrounded by the typical Tuscan landscape with cypress trees, wine yards and soft hills. The owner is very friendly and did their best to make this a... More

Stayed for one night in the beautifulMontalcino area. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the owner and promptly checked in. Friendly lady who gave us lots of great tips and info before we headed off to our wine tastings. The location, as others have said, is outside of the city but you cannot get around in this... More

Not a pleasant experience at all. We were doing a road-trip around the country side of the beautiful Tuscany this Easter. Montalcino was one the most important stops of our trip and we really wanted to spend a night in the rural area of Montalcino to fully enjoy the scents and flavours of the land. On paper Le Ragnaie looks... More

Nicely and recently renewed, free wifi, great people and great wine. Right outside the village, relaxing and with an amazing view! Highly recommended either for families, couples or just wine lovers! The cellar is a must to see! Can't wait to go back!
