This hotel is a beautiful place placed in languid, sunflower dappled hills of the Tuscan countryside. It is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and the 'village' ambience is serene and genteel. As other reviewers have already bestowed the highlights, I feel it is important to add a touch of realism and honesty to the pile, as our stay here was far... More

My partner took me here for my 40th birthday and it was the highlight of our trip to Italy. We stayed here for 2 nights and we could have stayed for 2 weeks. Catiglion del Bosco is an entire hilltop village that has been converted into a boutique resort. The location and service are the highest level, and the property... More

I chose to write in English in order to make more read this comment :) This property is just an amazing experience and am avoiding here all details one can find on their website. I knew it was a property belonging to the Ferragamo family and the village being classified by Unesco.... But alltogether accomodation, food; activities, environment.... ist just... More

The road surface for the last 6 miles had me worried I will tell you as its real off road stuff. But trust me its worth the odd pot hole and bumpy road as this is a jewel . Its always good when you are left with the feeling that the hotel does everything in its power to make sure... More

What an amazing estate, so incredibly picturesque and spectacular. We stayed in Casa Villa Del Fiume a villa on the Northern end of the estate for a week and did not want to leave. Such a relaxing place. Our villa consisted of a large 3 bedroom main villa with a one bedroom pool house, 12 metre swimming pool and our... More

This spectacular boutique hotel feels like it is its own little village. It is so special and unique that I cannot compare it to any other resort. Our room was extremely large, probably 25 X 40 with high ceilings. The compartmentalized bathroom plus closets complete the suite. The beautiful furnishings, decor and view embellish your surroundings. The staff made it... More

Not truly 5 stars, 4.5 maybe but can't do that as certainly room for improvement but really one of if not the best hotel we've every stayed at. Amazing place and with incredible views, super friendly and helpful staff and lots of facilities. We ate at their Osteria la Canonica restaurant our first evening after long drive down from Portofino... More

I had CdB reviewed but somehow the review counted into a separate name -- still me. Anyway, it was a golf vacation with couple of friends. We stayed at a villa there -- big thanks to our friend's boss since it was his treat. Lucky me :) Services were excellent. Golf was great, and the villa we stayed was superior.

The accolades are true - this place is heaven on earth. The pool is spectacular, our room was gorgeous (and the turn down service incredible - several times per day and we never ran into the housekeeping staff). The main restaurant on the property - Drago - is also top notch. We were less thrilled with the more "casual" place,... More

One of the most amazing places we have ever been too. Beyond 5 star perfection. The grounds are perfect along with the food and wine. Best place in Tuscany worth the long drive . This is the type of place you do not need to leave .
