We had a great time at the friendly, family run Hotel Riviera. The hotel isn't luxurious, but it is clean. It can be noisy, but that can't really be helped if one stays on the main road around Lake Como (mad traffic). It didn't bother me. The hotel has a restaurant and I believe the father was the head chef.... more

Stayed here on 7th and 8th of March 2007. We arrived after midnight (our flight didnt get into Malpensa until 10:30pm). don't be fooled by the picture and name of hotel. got an outstanding price even w/ a balcony. sounded too good to be true and it was really was. the picture doesn't show the main road that runs along the lake, which was within spitting distance from our balcony. room was very plain jane and bathroom was dark and nothing... more
