We ate lunch twice at this restaurant as we had such a good lunch the first time. There is a terrace on the water, a courtyard and a proper dining room area giving plenty of choices of where to sit. Their marinated salmon with their home made foccacia is delicious as is the ricotta bad spinach crepe which my daughter... More

Very much enjoyed my recent stay at the hotel. The staff were lovely, helpful and had a good laugh with us. The best beer I've had before - pint of flensburger goes down well! Our room was spacious and had a great view. The room my parents had was slightly cramped (especially the toilet) but was still okay. I'd recommend... More

I can not recommend this hotel. This is unfortunate because there are a number of positives. The staff are very nice and friendly, the location is excellent (although there was a lot of noise at night) and the restaurant is very good (and recommended). However, our room was very small and the bathroom (more like a cubicle) was horrible. Overall,... More

Only ate here! We were a group of 7 who dropped into the restaurant at The Hotel Azalea just to have a quick lunch. They were totally accommodating, immediately moved tables together and made us feel welcome. Our quick lunch tuned into a long leisurely lunch as we liked it there so much. The food was excellent, unpretentious but delicious... More

We had lunch last week and we definitely recommend this restaurant. We had a table on the little terrace on the lake and we really appreciated the service, the location and food. It is very simple but adorable. If we come back in Tremezzo we will stay there again!

We went to the Azalea restaurant after trying nearly all the other restaurants in Tremezzo. It was a lovely evening so we sat on the decking on the lake (this was the first bad move - mosquito's or thunderflies kept us busy). The menu had a few different items on, so i ordered the mixture of lake fish. It was... More

Decided to dine here aft reading previous reviews. The restaurant provides very good value for the Tremezzo area. The quality of the food is very good. Attentive service and whilst from the outside the restaurant looks a bit dated from the outside the experience inside is very comfortable where you can easily enjoy conversation. The table of 4 next to... More

We didn't stay at the hotel, but did eat at the hotel one night during our stay. The atmosphere was lovely, with candles and piano music in the background. They also have a small terrace area overlooking the lake. We had traditional pasta and pizza, both of which were good. The house wine was great and overall the bill was... More

Clean rooms, delicious dinner, busy road, average staff. You pay for what you get with this place. Tremezzo as a town is a jumping off point not somewhere to stay and explore. The hotel does well with what it has to offer. The wait staff left a lot to be desired. The fellow at the desk was nice enough but... More

This place was great! Some rooms have lake views, we didn't but the friendly staff, great location ( right across from the lake and a short walk to the ferries) and breakfast can't be beat. The breakfast alone would have been 10 euros each. Our only disappointment was that we found out too late that you need to make a... More
