We felt that this place was ours from the very beginning. Everything was so comfortable and clean! The house was fully equipped for self catering and also for entertainment (lots of books, DVDs, games). Special thanks to Jennifer (the owner) for all baby stuff, that made our fist trip with the baby just perfect! This place was so relaxing, that... More

Lovely family location.Very good option if you travel with kids. Great view, fantastic hostess Jennifer. She was really helpful. You do feel like at home. We were surprised how much there is to see in Palestrina. And we highly recommend to use fireplace to make your stays romantic.

Our stay was a great experience mainly because of our hostess Jennifer. The apartment was tidy and clean and so cosy that you instantly felt at home. The view was spectacular. As it is situated on top of the mountain you need to walk up there from the parking spot a 100 meter below. Only issue is parking, which is... More

We had a great time staying at Altavista. Jennifer was incredibly helpful and generous - she even bought us tickets for a great food and wine festival we visited and enjoyed in a nearby town. Our main reason for visiting Palestrina was to see the Nile Mosaic. Stunning! I could hardly believe this lovely house - in the picturesque old... More

Wow! what can I say. The pictures are exactly what it looks like. No deception there. Its everything you see and more. My 3 daughters and I just returned from a lovely trip to Europe. Palestrina was our first stop. Never having been to Europe we were amateurs at the whole experience. We took a chance and rented a car... More

Ampel space for two adult couples , a balcony with a great view, a warm welcome, not only from Jennifer who helped with our luggage , but also from the nearby alimentari and the bar Belvedere. We booked for just two days, but now we know better , this adress... More

Much more beautiful than it seen in the photos...the apartment located in a quiet and peaceful village - Palestrina. (Just a 30 min drive from Tivoli and 50 min from Rome) The apartment is wonderful and well equipped with everything you might need, including games for kids and many books of history / art and for reading as well. The... More

Unique location in medieval hillside village. Far-reaching views from balcony. Warm, cosy, beautifully furnished & comfortable beds. Genial grocer Andrea stocks delicious local deli produce & all day-to day needs. Jennifer was on hand to advise & book restaurants. Ideal base for driving holiday in/around Rome/Lazio. We will be back to see more.

My best friend and I stayed here for five days and it exceeded our expectations. Palestrina is quiet and secluded yet a quick train ride into Rome. The apartment is impeccable. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed to test our culinary skills. The layout was spacious, comfy and cozy. The balcony a perfect size to enjoy a glass... More
