We had a superior room for this visit. The private patio was fantastic – very large, and with magnificent views! The room was a bit sterile, but considering this bills itself as a spa, this could be understandable. There was no bathtub in the room – only a shower. The parking is easily accessible and plentiful (this actually is an... more

Hotel Raito is a five-star inn located high on a hilltop on the Salerno end of the Almalfi Coast Road which makes it less hectic and crowded while still experiencing the beauty of the coast. My husband and I stayed in a romantic, king-sized Jr. Suite that had a large comfortable sitting area, a huge, private veranda directly on the... more

We stayed here for around 3 nights, I would not stay again. The rooms were very standard looking with an amazing wall and trash area view..!! The staff was sort of friendly but seemed not motivated.... They are having hard time to communicate in English which is unacceptable for a 5 star rated hotel. The only nice thing was the... more

We selected a seiren dexluxe room with partial sea view. I would highly recommend this wing of the hotel for being peaceful and the attentive staff leaves bottles of water on ice and snacks at the entrance to the wing periodically daily. We were slightly disenchanted by the tiny size of the balcony and that it was shared with the... more

We unfortunately only stayed for two nights after a week long cruise. It is a little hard to find, so I recommend a navigation system to locate it. They have plenty of parking for us travelers which is nice considering parking is limited in the area. The room shared a large balcony overlooking the bay which was just magical. The... more

I stayed at the Hotel Raito from September 17-20, 2009. I have also stayed at most of the resorts along this coast during the past five years. Hotel Raito was not one of the great ones to say the least. During our stay, there were several weddings at the resort. Paying guests are given second rate service while they are... more

The Raito sits close to the shimmering sea—it literally straddles the cliffs—with 77 rooms and suites arrayed around a peaceful mountainside town. Stepping up the cliffside in a series of flower-filled terraces, most rooms are positioned to make the best of the staggering views across the impossibly blue waters of Vietri sul Mare to the pastel tumble of the Gulf... more

My partner and I stayed here for four nights wanting a relaxed getaway with access to the whole Amalfi coast to sample the food, wine and sunshine. Firstly, it's incredibly easy to find travelling from the direction of Naples airport and occupies a spot on the hill overlooking the old town of Vietri Sul Mare and the Bay of Salerno.... more

To be honest, this hotel is just perfect except for the fact that the A/C is horrible. When you pay $500 a night, you expect a working A/C but for whatever reason this hotel doesn’t have it?! When we checked into our room it must have been 40 degrees. Immediately we tried turn on the A/C to cool down the... more

My husband and I are used to staying in some of the nicest hotels around the world. Suffice it to say, we wanted the perfect place for a relaxing holiday in southern Italy. The Hotel Raito fit the bill, and was a good value for the experience we had. We stayed in a seaview room, and luckily received one night... more
